Aurora Radio In Search of Talent
Aurora Radio, a partnership between the International Trance Federation (ITF) and Aurora Events (AE), is in search of talent to fill our broadcast roster. We are looking for artists who understand the difference between quality and quantity (if mainstream festival EDM is your idea of quality don't waste our time), timeliness, reliability, good transitions, and good communication.
Majority of your sets will be uploaded to our google drive or sent to us via sendspace, soundcloud private link, etc. Most communication happens via email or facebook chat.
Preferred Genres:
- Deep, Progressive, Tech House
- Minimal, Dub, Techno
- Progressive, Uplifting, Tech Trance
- Progressive, Full-On, Goa PsyTrance
Other genres are considered and every submission requires a 30-60 min demo of your typical set progression and style.
More details will be given during our one-on-one conversation.
About Aurora Radio:
Aurora Radio is hosted by the ITF but managed by AE. We have full control over the station except during specially planned ITF events which may force us to reschedule something. As of right now nothing is planned except the ITF 3rd anniversary celebration which happens in November. AE hosts a monthly 10+ hour broadcast usually on the last Sunday of the month. We are looking for 1 or 2 hour shows of varying frequencies. We are also looking for people interested in hosting larger broadcasts where we orchestrate simulcasts and relays to hit a larger audience.
Our regular stream is 192 kbps but we are not limited to only that. We are live stream friendly if that tickles your fancy and depending on your technical intuition is fairly easy to set up. We broadcast directly from our website via a web player, into your favorite mp3 player (winamp, vlc, etc), or via TuneIn (for mobile capability).
