For the record, his sample was what sounded trancy, not my track. My track sounds like disco-prog imo (think donna summer with a todd terje twist).thanks for the reply tho. noticed i had forgotten to reset the +2db treble boost after dj'ing :P gonna do a proper mixdown on the genelecs, might sound a bit better after that.. thinking of adding another layer of sex though, just haven't decided on what yet.. oh and some sfx maybe :P
Loved the groove in your clip, but it did get a little "boring".. a little uninteresting.. but it wasnt like ecch.. so maybe just add some nice stabs or something? and call it a solid filler?

I like this a lot, it's really atmospheric but it still has a groove. I like the automated filter opening on the chord stabs near the end. I don't really know how I feel about the snare though. It's really subtle, maybe a little too subtle for me but that's a nitpick and completely depends on what you were going for.
This is my new thing which I am entirely prepared for everyone to hate on principal but I figured I'd post it anyway I'm so bored of all things four on the floor.
As soon as that 808 comes in I like it tons more. .
It's really cool all the way through. What I'm missing in your sound is some filthy saturation spicing the whole thing up a bit. Maybe a bit more apparent ducking and a bit fiercer compression on the mix overall. I've always found your sound a bit too clean and I think it would benefit from some harsher settings here and there .
If less is more think about how much more more would be.

I did some work on it if you wanna check it out again. Did the 2nd drop & stuff. And I tried to make the mix a little dirtier. You can just use the same player.
