I don't personally mind quick n' dirty transitions, based on the idea that we're all conditioned as far as what-to-expect-when...though I think more intentional transitions (and this is something I struggle with), can help a lot with the ebb and flow of a piece. Subtle audio cues that let the listener know "hey, something major is about to change". Whether it be filtering, percussive elements, the beat...some kinda indicator seems important to cue up the listener to any major change that is about to occur. (And I am extremely guilty, not doing this often enough myself...) Overall I dig it so far...and it's the kinda vibe I particularly like as well. Best o'luck on it!

Thanks for the feedback. Some valuable pointers. Will look at it and experiment with it after a break. Finally gonna dig in with some newer stuff now. And yes, the percussion is like that on purpouse.

And yes it is atleast ten years old, and as you both pointed out it got some problems. I've been working hard lately trying to fix them. But some good tips I havent thought about that I can now take into concideration! Thanks again.

incredible production, I dont really have any crits but I do have some greed in me wanting just a tiny bit more presence in the bass like maybe in the 100-200hz range. it sounds good as is, congrats.

I hope I can upgrade my listening space soon, maybe I can provide some feedback of value in the near future.

No real mix feedback outside of the IEM's I've got with me...(out at work away from home)...Sounds good through 'em though.

Good stuff. Nice, smooth, dreamy. Nice interplay between all the elements...Good musical progression. Kinda wishing it was a little longer / didn't end so abruptly...but such is the way of arrangement sometimes.

Ya know, funny you mention the time. I am going through a phase where I am purposely trying to make my tracks around the 3:00-3:20 mark as an average time, if you will.

I have often been critiqued saying "speed it up dood, get to the point" as this practice is actually 180 degrees from my usual because I am the type who likes making these epically long songs, in other words the journey.

I use to live for those long cuts that took you on something more than just immediate hit you in the face and then before you know it...it's done.

I believe now days, it is all about the attention span and I believe that artist's are purposely crafting their tracks with that in mind.
I think it sucks and I am hoping the trend remains true in the fact that it is probably going to change again....albeit years, possibly decades before something new changes the face of music.

dreamy and upbeat, the vox are a bit loud, the kick is a bit soft, id like more delay on the vox it, or maybe 4ths.. it sometimes works and sometimes dont... but nice sound on the vox, some less hp on the dnb loop cool be cool, all in all i like it, but it could rock a bit more, just pounding along for the dancefloor... as now it feels more like driving along the road than a dance hit.. imho,..

nicccccce beat just hit.... real crankly, love it, would love a interspersed riff just going dut dut dut by every last 8th bar or something... to give it some more substance... real droney pads, lots of distortion, i like it..

if you feel inspired to do it, why not? really like the low end pressure.
