huge improvement, havent heard any of your stuff in a couple of years probably

suggestions: 1. dont compress so much, let the track breathe and groove
2. you gotta go big after the breakdown, maybe open the filter on the arp a bit more, or stretch the notes out slightly longer, or maybe a bit more reverb after the break
drop doesnt grab me at the moment, not sure about that pad that comes in

also your bass goes a bit wonky at the end for some reason?

p.s. the saw arp that comes in near the end - thats what you should put after the drop

Aye thanx Evo. Your def right about going big at breakdown, all in and all out and I wasn't comfortable with stretching notes an octave or two at the time, but that was then, this is now and I'm ready to make another track.

Yea I feel your track ends after the intro.

how does this mix sound? got some new monitors but im taking them back for something better im not getting much low mid resolution. might try a bigger woofer but then my neighbours would kill me, I'd have to build some mineralwool panels.



there is a high click noise on the bass I cant get rid of for now.

Nah, if you want the best bass resolution. Get yourself some vibration transducers you mount under your couch. ALL bass frequencies will be felt by your body when you lie down on the couch. I used to have them to enhance the the movie watching experience then I realised they are awesome with bass-heavy music.

They go by names such as bass shakers or butt kickers. They are also great for your car stereo!

When you watch a movie you feel the explosions & bullets & jump scares. Trust me they are the most awesome thing for audio enhancement apart from microdosing*beep*.

As for amplification. Any old mono or stereo amp will do, fed from the subwoofer output of your soundcard or receiver.

I used to talk to this guy who had that Richie hawtin subpac, he swore by it. I was talking about lower-mids not bass, im hoping the increase in woofer will give me some more lower-mid resolution. Im going to order the 8 inch version to experiment, we'll see. I dont think you are I on the same wavelength.

Well people normally shop for a larger woofer cause they want deeper bass.

You could try just cutting reverb on frequencies below 300Hz to get more bass detail as reverb tends to smear the bass.

Mixing is better than mine, really nice sounds and clean. Yeah, there is nothing after breakdown, you got to beef that part a bit.
