I like this, very chilled but still driving feel - like the big reverbs
couple of things that pop out at me are
agree the bass gets lost. Maybe high pass the reverb and other instruments to make a bit of room for the sub?
it sounds like you have swing on the beats, and also the synth parts too? i would personally experiment with putting those synth parts in straight 8ths rather than swinging them too, i think that would sound better rhythmically to my ears anyway - realise thats just my perspective though. Nice tune

Pretty cool Funky project man, like this style and vibe - later you need to find some way of creating this driving groove which will help you keep this upbeat entire length of this track - I would suggest to layer claps (2 or 3 of them at least) to punch through much more then what you have right now. When you have your life bass recorded let us hear it Chris

dig it, everything seems a bit too highpassed for my taste but thats personal.
I went back to this wip, I changed some things I dont know if this low end is working.
its a bit too loud too i guess.

Trying to update an old track with new plug-ins. Upgraded to Rob Papen Explorer 4, so what you are hearing above is presets from RAW and drums are from Punch.
It's still missing the Logan's Run vocal samples. Might replace it with something else, so I don't have to worry about sample clearance. My voice or Siri through a vocoder perhaps? But it does sound rather boring without vocal samples.
Loudness is -16 LUFS. Will be mastering to this level from now on. 48KHz, 24-bit. Still quite a lot of headroom there.

Bass is working fine at lease on my $20.00 headphones at work lol - nice hunting atmosphere and slowly unwinding melody is catching my attention Mac - so far so good.

Yeah, I hear you man but at this point in my life I'm looking for some more smooth and melodic genre of music so I can reflect and relax with it - my crazy time (like hard, metal and speed rock lol) is behind me and really looking forward to something more nostalgic
Still can make some decent Trance or House track
