Unfortunately I read Richard's response first. So when the alleged vocal sample under scrutiny came in, it sounded like she/it was saying "Quaaack quaaaack quaaack". You get a free 2nd opinion from my end, as my roomate was wandering around and asked wtf I was listening to, quack quack?
We agree with Richard on the vocal sample. Personal preference(s), yadda yadda.
The harder part, I guess is offering thoughts on what to maybe do with it instead?
I think, Vocal sample at 00:24 is nice. This seemed like typical lead-in technique to the actual vocal lyrics. Which is kinda what I was expecting as a listener. Is there a full lyrical melody associated with that snippet? or is just a snippet...?
Vocal samples at 00:37 and 00:39 are nice too. Reminds me of the vocal snippets used frequently in chillstep, to add to that light, cheery vibe.
The first sample in conjunction with the 2nd could probably make for nice vocal snippet interplay if used a little closer together, in conjunction with the beat.
Not sure on the processing for the quack quack vocal sample. I'm guessing disco-style flanger to get it match up with the funky guitar riff at 1:18? Maybe ease up on it a bit? Or just stick with clean vocal snippets. |
Cheers man lol - this may require me to either modify this guitar (and FX on it) or go for some completely different sounds
There is tones of elements/sounds I can use as replacement for this quaccck, quaacccckkkk lol lol lol sound lol.
Appreciate man,
Darek
