Richard that bass is gang shit, im jelly. Evo nice mix and I really like that kick, im a bit polarized by your break, im just curious how it would sound with a dry part layered in, but I think its fine too so dont ask me after-all -__-
I put some more work into my last wip, but Its hit a brick wall, im not really feeling satisfied with it, especially after the break not really keen on that synthish sound but I spent too long trying to puzzle some shit in. I fixed some things but introduced new problems. Maybe its worth a reconstruct if I ever get a good lead sound to replace, and it is a bit muddy/full needs more corrective eq but im trying to move on. Its my therapy to dump it in here before doing so.
the break is killer, reminds me of old Sasha/Holden/AirDD, that lead is really fucking nice, would build around that
the bass lead thing - its very strong in the low mids, imo needs a decent cut, would be tempted to roll off some of the mid->high also

I like it. You can do really amazing things with 3 chords only. The gated thing after break sounds to me a bit overchopped or something...
yea I would do something with the beat and percussion, maybe low pass filtering the kick and beefing it up sideways or just scrapping that and adding a breakbeat, feels like its not doing anything or it should have some dubby roll. I would also layer in another octave down in your sub in or beefing that up too.

this is my fave of your recent tracks youve posted up - sounds legit to me - i like it
solid bass/kick nice arps
sorry dont mean to be rude about your vocals, but id lose them personally - perhaps look into sampling vocals rather than always recording your own all the time?
getting quite a live/spontaneous vibe of your tracks recently. have you considered doing some kind of live set up?
feel like the overall mix might be missing some frequencies int he upper mids and the sustained note that comes in after the break i feel its a bit fatiguing on the ear
overall tune might be missing a bit of a hook
drums and groove realy nice. for me its not far from being a quality tune that sounds pro - just needs that bit of an extra push

agree the break is killer and my favourite bit of the tune
agree that the tune is a bit muddy something sounds over compressed too perhaps in the lows? something sounds pushed too hard sounds like its almost stuttering as a result
the thing that is not working for me here is the bass and low end. the concept/music is great imo. my ear seems to be a little confused as to whether or not it actually is bass or not as there doesn't seem to be much sub information in there
If i try high passing the tune at around 100 hz it doesn't feel like im losing much, so i think this area of the mix needs to be addressed

When I highpass it at 100hz I feel like Im losing very much guess I dont see eye to eye with that point, but I do agree its very muddy and needs seperation eq / less distortion.

Thanks. I've changed the kick and drums in updated version, and tried to beef the lowend a bit. Also did some filtering on main lead sound, it was annoying.

Thanks, yes I'm kinda doing more analog in'it these days
Yes I think I will maybe do something about the vox
I have a number of tracks need finishing. I find it hard working with vocalists, I live in the sticks and many don't seem to want to record themselves.
I'm a bit of a loner music wise and find it a pain dealing with singers
My aim right now is to get about 3 tracks I'm real happy with and go for signing (very lazy about that too)
Never done live - would love to but would need some mouse hat or something as I'm getting on
Here's a DNB - people say it's my best genre, but I dunno
