New Drumstep track from me, kind of different but had fun on it. Sub seems to have these sporadic clips that I just can't wrap my head around.

cool track. the atmospherics and feel are really cool I agree the kick isn't quite right, it sounds to punchy in the highs and the low end of the track doesnt quite blend into one solid whole, which i think is quite important in this style of genre. I thjink its peaking a little too high? Maybe try a more typical DNB kick?
also i think the main bass riff, which plays on one note, although its a really cool sounds i think it sounds too thin and could do with more processing perhaps maybe more subtle layers of distortion (do you use izotope trash 2?)
anyway that is obviously just my opinion. I think you could smash this genre if you keep at it, and thats what its all about right
with the sub, you mean at the beginning of the sound, like in the attack phase you get clicks? Ive experienced this a lot. Seems all you can do is play with the attack on the synth, low pass the sine (which you are probabrly doing) and make sure the OSC is set to "triggerd" rather than "free" (different synths seems to call this different things) youre prob doing this already though right. Serum seems to have a tighter attack on a sine bass than say massive
one thing ive done in the bpast to remove those awkward clicks is bounce to audio and remove the clicks with izotope RX. works flawlessly but is of course a bit time consuming
