i bought it at quality electronics here in hollywood because it's about 10-15min from me.
djdeals.com offeres the kit too.
i would suggest to you that you buy it in person if possible. this way you can inspect the kit before walking out the door. the rotary kit is not rugged at all. it can get damaged very easily during shipping.
when i was @ quality, they guy opened up the package before he actually gave it to me, and the pcb on one the channels was broken, w/the chip just floating the in the bag. luckily he had several kits, so i was able to get a good one before i left.
also, my neighbor has a pmc50. he also has a rotary kit, but one of the knobs spins all the way around, along w/the pcb on the other side.
-this is not supposed to happen.
this thing is absolutely AWSOME to mix on. you're gonna freak out that night and day difference it will make when making slow smooth blends.... it's just nuts. the problems is that you spend a pretty penny on the kit, but it's kinda flimsy. but don't be too rough on them... avoid slamming the knobs upagainst the 0 or the 10 position. also, once you install it, never remove it again. once you see how much play there is on the pcb (it can rotate a little, as you can see in one of the pics -one channel looks a little crooked) and how much it bend from the simple yet arduous task of connecting/disconnecting the pin connectors you'll see what i mean. don't mess w/it more than you have to. but once it's in, it's all good.
front view -yes, the part number is DF50... there is no DF55
side view -here you can see that this kit is kinda on the delicate side, carefull handling required.
underside view -looking hella cheap here... as you can see, some of the pcb's look crooked, that's because they have some play, and can rotate a little. but i don't think much force is required to break it, and make it spin freely.
