Each synth have an unique caractere that you can feel in a sound. Some synths can reproduce certain kind of sounds, others can't but have other features. So if you use many synths, you will be able to create a wide variety of sounds.
I can't see how you can compare synths and sequencers..

ahwell, us music producers have gotten ourselves into a freakin expensive hobby...there will always be something to spend our dollars on, thats for sure.
Well 45-55ms...It's crappy but I manage...I dunno if I should buy an EMU-1212M...I want to go more with an RME.
And yea, it's even too expensive sometimes...And I ain't talking about how things update themself almsot every day..ie I bought my PC 4 months ago and now there's Dual-Core Proccesors and 2MB chase...bla bla bla...bastards...

I see you've got some Dt 770s , Ive got the same pair, though im not sure how good they would be for mixing/mastering seeing how they have huge low end. You use an amp for them? I made my own, they sound 10 times better with a good amp than with no amp.
