I haven't experimented with stereo effects too much because I wanted to get the composition and so forth timed to where it sounds live. I know it won't ever sound performed live because they're just drawn MIDI notes, but just close enough that the average listener can't tell the difference.
I'm going to work on notching out some of the big mid and low frequencies, processing, and delay/reverb to make it sound more presentable.
L4C, where you at? ^_^
Cool ideas in your pieces - if you want to make it sound more realistic just try playing it in on the keyboard imo - you can always tighten up the timing after
Theres no better way to make it sound realistic - that way you will actually be playing something that a human would naturally play and it wont sound so robotic and nonhuman
Ive been learning piano for around 3 years and although it was originally just to try and improve my productions i absolutely love it
this is an idea im working on - vocals are from loopmasters - everything else is made from scratch
needs lots of little details and polishing etc
Its different than what ive done before wasnt trying to sound like anything in particular - enjoyed making swung 2 step beats a lot

huh such an effort... well the best way to sound realistic would be playing it on midi velocities but also you should chop some notes something like arpeggios on the same note that can add some realism.
For example if you are playing the C key you can chop it in 3 and each of its parts having different velocities, that adds an extra value to the composition.

nice vibe right off the bat... vox are mixed in nicely. i like them a lot. reminds me of hanging out with a cute girl ^_^
build up is pretty sweet to, can't wait to hear the drop. nice subtlety with that piano. I would like to hear that bassline low passed though. The grit kind of conflicts with how mellow the track is.
Vocals are beautiful. Hell yeah man. NICE!
Are you fucking kidding me? This is excellent! At 2:00 though... not digging that Mario piano though. Kind of detracts from the solid vibe you had going before. Focus on that main meat you had before.
Vocals are perfect though.

Thanks you mate for the very nice feedback. 100% agree the bass isnt right have to find a balance of a modern sounding bass without being too bright
I personally dont mind the Mario piano though although it could do with more variation for sure
Yes i like the vocals too - from a loop masters CD that gives you a lot of different vocal tracks for each song
That is really nice. Very well executed. Only thing I think it might benefit from is placing the bass further back in the mix and maybe reduce the impact of the transient it has, making it a bit less prominent. Other than that it's a really nice track with cool vocals.
I'd enjoy this a lot on my headphones while being on the road . Well done!
edit: Obviously, I didn't read the feedback given earlier haha.
If less is more think about how much more more would be.

Thanks very much! Agreed on the bass Going back to the drawing board with that and also add a few fx, fills, ear candy maybe some flute samples

yeah this is cool, the metallic bassline sound im not so sure about, if you just had a deepish bass on its own i think it might work better......
yup yup, super dope. deep house vibe right away. just a really feel goodsound. the breaks are super housey.... overall big house vibe for sure. now a days, sexy soulful vocals mixed in with something like this is the sound a lot of people are after. i would seriously play this out. even if you don't low pass that bass sound, people are going to really like this. do you plan on having this played out anytime soon?
Oh and by the way, nice percussion! the highs really breath well.

Chris this is well black, didn't know you had this sort of track in you. Really cool, perfect.
Don't add too many fx and frilly bits, it doesn't need much.

good one, kick needs to be a bit lower for this kind of tracks, reducing it 1-2 db can add some space and you could mix it again but sounds very good.
Right now it's -3db/-4db right? I usually mix at-5 for chill tracks.
