Been having issues lately with writing. I do alright on a intro and a "base" of a song but when approaching the bridge I just go totally blank. This is one of three tracks that are exactly the situation.
The problems start when I just go totally blank and then I start fidgeting with what I already have worked on and I start over thinking and adding elements that I probably shouldn't which affects the production. Any suggestions?
Is this an official/original production or remix? - also after1:54 I expected a lot more drive and dynamics then what you have so far.
Overall very promising WIP with tons of potential
Cheers,
Darek

Yeah, you have some nice (with potential) chord progression going on but this structure so far is not clicking with me man, feel lost couple of time with your transitions like in 1:04 which you adding those melodic chords.
I think if you restructure this a bit more EDM-ish lol and add some vocal to it then you may have something really interesting Richard

Sounds dope, head was nodding. You should try and release it.

its weird not getting weighed down by a track and just moving on. used to horde ideas back in the day
glad to hear it, you'll know yourself if a track is worth finishing, if you feel it has something...

Honestly that track sounds pretty complete to me elements-wise.
When you add the intro/outro you'll end with a piece of around 5 minutes which seems totally appropriate for the genre. You already got the verse based around the vocals and you got the main lead which should constitute the refrain imo. Than it's just a matter of arranging, managing things.
I would suggest you to leave it on a side for a month or so and then get back at it with fresh mind and vision.
I wouldn't advice working on a project that has bored the shit out of you, cause no matter how much will you got, you could never be creative on such projects unless you take a serious break and allow time to "clear" your mind.
Thanks man,
Yea, this is where I am at already after I took a month off from it..lol

Darek yea it is and your spot on with the lackluster drive at the drop. My thoughts exactly. Any suggestions? I mean, I would have thought the sub would take care of that but Im guessing I need some mid...but unsure if I should sustain a mid ranged ....something or go with a rolling mid base. Which neither might be the answer.
I tried doing some chain work but couldnt balance the ducking good enough to make it sound natural.

I'm usually not into the overly minimal productions personally. The same goes for this one. Although I have to admit the part at the 4min mark is rather enjoyable. Technically it all works and sounds well, so no comments here .

The mood set at the beginning grabs my attention straight away . As soon as the kick comes in it just oozes oldschool prog vibes. Curious to see where you will take this.
