Still waiting to get a Yocto 808 case and then hopefully find someone to build it for me.
Pretty decent video. Not my cup of tea musically, but I'm keen on getting a Push 2 as well to integrate with Live. I can see Live being awesome in that respect as a giant kaoss pad/sample triggerer.
I think the Elektron gear is definitely worth the money as it's so deep an well thought out, not to mention capable. The addition of overbridge adds massive value to the analog devices, especially as it's free!

Just a couple of looped Analog4 renders so far as the learning curve is pretty steep.

Nice. Yeah, I was sold after I'd heard the track in that vid. I'd say the same about the old Korg electribes - the ER-1 does have limitations but for the price they go for, lots of these machines are good especially for the sounds peculiar to them, that you can't find on other machines (prolly goes for most gear - I'm sure even the Akai Rhythm Wolf may be useful in a setup).

Yeah I agree, I had an ESX-1 and an EMX-1 last year and they sound inexplicably good. The new Electribes sound awful in comparison, but they've dumbed them down and reduced cost.
If less is more think about how much more more would be.

What's the point of including the computer in pics if nearly every computer can do the same job? It's not really an "instrument" per se.
