lookin good tehlord, the v-synth seems like something that'd contrast many other synths really really well. although all my experience with the v-synth is nada, I just watch alot of its demo vids on youtube.
maybe i'm showing my age by still being in love with the nostalgic sound of my jp's supersaw and pwm. out of all the emulation/knock-off attempts out there, nothing else has the same tonal character of the jp80x0. but how does the v-synth's supersaw and pwm sound compared to the jp? i've read many conflicting opinions. generally people say it's basically a jp + rompler, its modeling is the exact same as the jp's which is what intrigues me. but I've also read from a couple people that the v-synth's supersaw is different from the jp's. if you or anyone else has owned a jp and a v-synth, what's your take on it (v-synth supersaw and pwm vs jp)? also what about the filters, are they the same or different from jp's?

wow, yeah it does... and that filter sounds amazing. it doesn't sound as noisy like the jp's filter. I actually like the jp's filter alot when it's static or even when it's being used in envelopes. I think it sounds way better than diva's rendition of it. but it does fall short when you modulate it with a lfo, that's when it seems to get noisy during those fast sweeps. that v-synth filter definitely sounds superior, thanks for posting that demo. i'd looked for v-synth supersaw demos on youtube before but strangely enough, didn't find any that really focus in on that aspect. I understand what why though because that's just one very small aspect of what the v-synth does. anyway, that sounds so warm.
