Ok thanks, no I was not kidding.. When I'm mixin trance the last thing I would think of is to mix in 2 tracks but techno is a unexplored area for me Sounds really hardcore to use 3 sources!

OK I get it, at first I thought the 3rd one was for acapellas and samples but I think that would have been a little excessively for just that kind of use But now i know

You don't know yet.. I am planning on buying a CDJ1000mk2 for that purpose of dropping samples, accapellas, beat jugglings, my own edits/remixes of tracks etc. $1500 for something to do that with, and yes it will be worth it!

Having a third, fourth, fifth, etc deck is not excessive for some DJ's. Look at Carl Cox, the guy uses more than 3 on a CONSTANT basis when he spins, if he didn't have more than that, I really do think his sets would lack in quality...
