The carts each come with wiring kit, so one less thing to worry about if you find a cheap bare headshell.
I don't have any spare to send you unfortunately after I had a clearout of a box full a while back - doh.

Thanks mate. I'll have another look and try to find them. Can't believe I've chucked them but could have got lost in the house move a few months back.

Just realized one of my channel faders on my vestax is shot. They're getting rarer to find these days. Do have any idea if they/anyone ever did an aftermarket fader that lasts better than the IF-50?

I know Alps makes a similar length pot and there's people on Ebey selling them as a direct replacement but you have to solder them to the little board (not a problem) and apparently they have a different resistance curve so you can't just replace one?

I always used to find that the M44-7 were really heavy on the wear and tear with vinyl.

I still use the Concorde electros on my 1210s. Unless you are looking at turntablism you don't really need the aggro of the Sure carts. But then I think I am thinking of the 27 degree angle that scratch DJs used...

Cheers

Thats because you put on to much weight on your stylus, next time use recommended tracking force for low record wear and you should be fine.

Aye, I have electro's when I want to mix and scratch at the same time and for practice because the tip is spherical with tight groove handling. For Studio like recordings and mix downs I use my Nightclubs MK2's which have a elliptical stylus that sinks deeper intro the record groove for hi quality playback and recording or archiving.

Hey I wonder what would DJing be like if using 1,00,000k Phono cartridge and a turntable. Prob shoot quality suitable for only werwolves and vampires.

There is. a vid on facebook making the rounds where a guy using s rotary pitch fader like the ones found on the first technics using a serious high end ridiculously high priced turntable and needle and basically djing.

I'll get the vid after I find it and show it.

I'm speechless, def outside the norm OCD.

That's so fucking overkill. How the fuck is he going cue up with rubber slipmats on audiophile belt drives. Looks good an all, but utterly useless.

Yeah you deff need the mats because if your like me and want the best possible set up and go for the rubber mat only not only you wont be able to cue but you'll get bass resonance and It'll kill the balance. I tried mixing with it only a long time ago, when I had Numarks,
