Mixmesiter BPM analyzer DOES write the BPM info into the tag (doesn't do key though). Once you see a BPM registered on screen, it's been written to the tag, automatically. I use Serato and I use Mixmeister almost daily to BPM all my tracks, never had any problems. I guess what program are you using that doesn't read the BPM? Also it only writes the info for mp3s. Wavs and some other formats are supported in Mixmesiter and will calculate the BPM, but there is no tag to write it too.

I tend to use a key searching tool such as https://www.getsongkey.com as I can filter by song, artist or album and is good when I'm mixing on the fly. Do you use any tools yourself? I've found that sometimes people's ears can be different to hearing keys and we all have our own interpretations.
