Total cheese that I produced using mostly softsynths with a friend who was very new to producing at the time. Before that I mainly did glitchy ambient type stuff. Still do, mostly. Also worth noting is that I've built up all that gear over a span of about 13 or 14 years, so it's not like I just one day decided "I WANT TO MAEK TRANCE!!!" and dumped 5 figures into it. The gear I have now is what's left after years of buying and selling things that I didn't like. What's left is the gear that really caught my interest.

I didn't mean it like that bro. I just meant I know the notoriety of the stuff you have in your studio so I wanted to see how it sounds. I wasn't proclaiming anything more than that or expecting a certain style or level of productions.

Sorry, that's just usually something that happens when anything about my setup is mentioned or posted on forums, so I tend to assume.

fair enough, but despite this being a trance forum, i think you'll find a lot of people on here don't give a shit about, as you put it: getting played by tiesto etc, and are involved in digital production for the same reasons as you

i would also be keen to hear some stuff, just to see how all that gear sounds, i'm open to all kinds of moozic, especially if it strays from the norm.
i understand if you're not keen to share though

Does anybody have Yamaha HS80'? I was thinking about tilting them sideways not sure if anything could go wrong lost the manual.

Tilting them sidways should give you no problems. Might even sound better if they are leveled to your ears.

Just moved.

painted the walls and starting to set things up. It looks quite boring actually so I will probably put some more art between the sound treatment once I get said treatment. I have a nicer piano on the right and a preamp and mc and big applemonitor to sync video when I work. THe 3 HP monitors work great for viewing scores. And I have to do something about those wires. And yes I am a giant. Those speakers are at ear height. I also took the picture from a weird angle to make me look massive.

Done any recording with th firewire solo? I have that but havent used it for recording yet but will do soon. Any good if you have?
