used to have one myself...the 25 key version. if it was the 49 key version, I'd probably still have it if only for the midi functions! the keys felt pretty nice, I must say.

The PreSonus HP4 is quite good for the price.

Awesomeness, I know a few people who graduated there
I added a few new synths over the past few weeks, so I thought I'd show some of 'em off. The Voyager and Mopho are new and I also picked up a DSI Poly Evolver Rack and Waldorf MicroQ (not shown). I'm going to compare all of them over the next few weeks and decide which ones to keep and which ones to sell.

I'm probably going to write up a review of all these synths in a few weeks. I'm also on the lookout for a Studio Electronics SE-1X to throw into the mix.
My initial thoughts on the two are that they're both very cool and useful, but obviously very different. The Voyager is pure phatness with lots of hands-on control, whereas the Mopho is much more flexible (in terms of modulation options), offers a much wider range of sounds, and actually does a pretty decent Moog emulation. Both are pretty incredible. You may want to give a lot of consideration to a Dave Smith Evolver or Mono Evolver Keyboard as well.

Nahh. I got the PEK for the same price or just a couple hundred more than the PER. If i had a MEK to control the PER I would have, but using just the (somewhat inadequate) software or PER's knobs just wouldn't do it for me.
