nah, there like 30/40 cm away from the centre of the speaker.. its save

the sides of the case act like a shield against magnetic radiation, so the hdd is safe

yep, originally protools 5.0 on os9 but 6.1.2 on osx at the moment.

Have you used cubase ? I don't want to turn this into a cubase vs protools debate, but you can buy a new digi 001 with protools le 6 for less than a new copy of cubase sx, so I was wondering how that works out for you.
