I've seen pictures of this, and I wonder how it happens. Mine are now a year old, used daily but they still look as new as they did the day I got them.

If you tape a pinwheel to the side...it looks better than any other pair out on the market.

(i think)

i'm pretty sure those are mdrs v6 or 7506 (same thing)

dj logic (who's dj logic?)

tiesto, on the other hand, is fond of technics and jesus poses!

i own MDR V6, same thing, great device. they were a little too quiet in the lows for me last friday, but that was probably because i was 5 feet around the corner from the goddamn speaker.

Also, celebrities using these = nothing new, since they have been used in radio stations and recording studios for years and years...

A friend of mine is visiting the US in a couple of weeks and I asked him if he could buy me one from there. It's a whole lot cheaper than over here.
Does anyone know stores in preferably Houston where he might pick one up?
He'll be visiting Dallas and Detroit too so if anyone knows some stores in those cities that would be cool.

industry standard for over 20 years now, i've been in radio stations that still have original pairs, obviously they've been worked on over the years, but that's why they're designed modular, for easy repair

i was quoted about 120 each cup for replacement, i think they thought i wanted the whole cup though and not the cushion

either way i think i'll just grab a new pair regardless, then i'll at least have a backup in case something drastic happens and it's beyond repair or i lose them again (that week i had to borrow my friend's v700's was torture), which is quite possible considering the amount of use and abuse mine have gotten over the years

i seriously have put my 7506's through some tough shit and they're still kicking strong, you're stupid not to own these headphones

I have 'em, I like 'em. Very durable, even after a great deal of punishment.

My one complaint is that the coiled cable gets fucking annoying after a while, and it's starting to become loose near the plug, exposing the inner wires. So far, I've solved this problem with electrical tape. Anyone know if the cable is replaceable in some way?
