Glad you guys like my little studio!
Well, first off it ain't tapcos, it's the ESI nEar05 Experience under the DJ-Desk! xD Well.. I first had the nEar's for my music, but then I wanted to have a fairly bigger frequency-range and I then upgraded to those Behringers.
I really like both my ESI's and Behringer's so it's hard to say really.. But I must admit I'm impressed of the sound (that includes the bass) the ESI's can deliver despite it's small size. I know many people hate the Behringer's but as allways it's just a matter of taste. I'd say they have quite a good sound for the price so..
And I have listened/worked with more expensive monitors like Mackie HR824 and similair so I know what I'm "missing out"..
Hope it helps!

My Hobby Studio
Self Built P4 3.0 O/C to 3.6 on Windows XP with Dual M-Audio Delta 44s, 2 Gig 800meg Dual Channel RAM, 2x Midisport 2x2.
M-Audio Axiom 49
Virus B
Electrix Filter Factory
Oberheim Matrix-1000
Triton Rack
Korg EM-1
NI Kore Controller
Alesis M1 Actives
Behringer 602a monitor mixer
Office Depot Desk ($79!!!)
(All hardware pieces bought used on Ebay/CL)
Software:
Sonar 6.2
NI Komplete 4/Kore (cheap right now, buy before Kore 2 comes out!)
V-Station/Bass Station VSTi's
Crystal VSTi
I have to thank Tweak for his guide, it really helped me set this (hobby) studio up in a very usable and intuitive way. There are a million different ways to set up a studio rig, and i needed to learn to set it up MY way.
I use the Axiom as both keyboard controller and control surface through Sonar's ACT function. Works like a charm. Everything i use is within arms reach of me. I do mostly trance and new age, and so I don't need any more gear, just learning to use what i have better now. Will post some songs soon.
PS... If anyone else is using Sonar 6 I'd be way into collaborating on a trance track with someone!

Finally I'm happy with where I'm at. I've got pretty much everything I need for now. Later on, more VSTs and much later maybe an Alesis Andromeda A6

Just a word of advice! BM5As rely on the rear port for bass, so it's not great to have a window behind them. Read the manual, it should tell you the optimum distance to have them for a wall.
I'm sure you'll be very happy with it all, great stuff

I don't think the bass is that bad.. I actually cut it down a bit because it was giving me vibrations from the right wall. I've only had it for a day so no doubt I'll be setting it up for a while. The window to be honest, doesn't actually affect them that much
