Well, my study abroad there in 2012 meant I needed to take another year to finish my undergraduate, so I wasn't ready for grad school until now. Why'd you leave now, huh??

Jack, are you in? The pool of genres is significantly better than past competitions. It'll be fun, come on!
Sorry, but I think I'll skip this one. I'm moving flat in September which is going to take up a lot of time, not to mention money, and I frankly think I'm just putting out too many mixes at the moment, to the point where people are just going to get bored of seeing my name. I'll still listen in to the submissions though.

Aww, I was still pondering on what genre to pick. Well whatever. If I could still sneak in I'd take it, but if not I'll understand.
You still have time! Signups are still open. Just hurry up
How does "italian techno" differ from other kinds of techno?

It sounds different and it's made by Italians? There are other geographically based micro-genres that have been accepted so far, and it should be an easy enough job for this challenge. I could give pointers, but I'm sure it's not that hard to find some italian labels and look at the prevailing techno sounds of any given era. It Should shine trough in the resulting mix whether or not this holds its own as a genre. If nobody's convinced I'll have to think of something else, but I see plenty of directions for a mix like this and that's why I submitted it.
