We can only hope that Technics get this right, Pioneer tried with their deck but its just not as good as the old 1200/1210s.
Again, the cost factor is not that important to those of us serious about our DJing, I know I paid around £1400 each for my CDJ 2000s plus more for the mixer and headphones etc etc.
If the new decks are as rugged as the old ones, then spending £1000 or so each is a worthwhile investment.
