And don't really think you need a specific "VST" for what you are needing but rather Oscillators.

You can't really do it with normal synthesis as the Roland preset uses a short sampled attack of a real pizz pluck.

Well technically with enough sine waves you can recreate anything, but in reality those sampled transients in s&s cannot be replicated with 'normal' subtractive synthesis.
You can kinda get something that's 'similar' to the pizzicato pluck with square waves, but only similar if you don't compare the two side by side.
