Behringer's 808 clone

Not sure what to think about this

Depending on price, it will sell like hotcakes and every muppet out there will start shoehorning it to their tracks.

iI'll be like 1988 all over again.

That video though...I sure am hoping that was a prototype because it didn't look solid at all. Price is awesome, tis why I looked at it. 199.00$ but if it comes with cheap flimsy crap forget it

It's behringer - what do you expect?

Tbh at $199 from anyone what do you expect? it's going to be cheap and flimsy. Behringer makes things so they're accessible and occasionally they nail it. At $199 I'm not going to give much of a shit whether the panels were hand beaten by leprechauns and the knobs oiled with unicorn milk. It's a bit of fun in a box.

There's already the TR08 by Roland for $400 so this is aimed at people who want a cheapy 808. I'd consider one just for shits and giggles.

This is true but I have also had hardware that was better presented for it's price. But I mean, this has to be a prototype because the the entire top piece is solid yet the bottom has a LOT of give. *see 0:38-48 When he presses those buttons? I mean it is a serious press he gives and the whole panel gives with it...downwards. Not good

lol when he presses the switches the whole thing is caving in. looks good though, proper individual outs et all. I know they made that proper moog clone, like down to the smallest details in sound, still not 100% but its nuts. It would be great to have something like this, except you can replace the samples, theres nothing like that out there right? The arturias dont do that either right?
