Bespoke / Custom DJ mixers.

I know there's been always been a couple of companies doing custom DJ kit but there seem to be quite a surge in these little bespoke / cottage industry manufacturers right now, and good options are popping up all over the globe.

here's a little selection:

These guys make custom DJ mixers based on the original Bozak / Urei designs or you can buy kits to make your own such as this one:

or

And then there's Isonoe, they guys that make the very clever isolation feet for technics:

Sexy as fuck

Then there's super Stereo in the UK who are making really beautiful bespoke mixers:

I thought you might like that DIY one.

I would ask for them to add balanced outputs, and then have them add the EQ PCB's but then also add in line bypass switches for the EQ's to make them kills.

Oh, and use the Alps RK27 pots.

That would probably be one of the best 2ch mixers, and best of all, they are made in Sweden so really close to you.

Yep, but seriously, get them to do balanced outs and EQ's - the basic one doesn't have eq's. And then make sure you can bypass it so you have a kill switch option.

Let me know if you want the front plate custom engraved with something like I <3 Existo22 - I've just designed a new clear acrylic face plate for my Vestax and going to cut and engrave it this weekend using my 40w CNC laser

Does what it needs to. Why the headphone tone?

One suggestion:

As said before, add a bypass switch the EQ section. Turns them in to kills which is great to drop out a band or band pass something efficiently. It's super easy to do and won't degrade your signal path at all.

Also, not 100% confirmed on this but I think for phono grounds, you can combine them to one post and not need a discrete one for each channel.

That looks fantastic and I bet it sounds amazing.
I would love to have one of those at home with a pair of sensibly modified 1210s (Origin Live tonearm, rega mounting plate etc etc)

You could never play cd or wav/mp3 etc through that mixer lol
