Traktor Pro 2:please, help!
Hi guys,Ive used traktor for years but ive not come this issue before. I use Traktor pro 2 on my laptop NOT with an external decks.Ive always used it on the same lap top and neve had any problems with it until the lap top has been updated/upgraded.
The problem Ive is that I can no longer pre-listen to a track. Say a track is playing in Deck A and I want to transit into a track in deck B, when I click on "Headphone" button on Traktor in order to pre-listen to my next track I can not longer hear the track even thoughI used to be able to so my sound card should be able to allow me to do this.
If I go to Setting - Output Routing -Output Monitor/Master it only gives me two choices "Speaker L and Speaker R". Should there not be 4 options/chanels?
Im attaching a file for you to see,
is there anything I need to add or upgrade? It used to work fine but now something must have changed either with my audio card or something else, please help.
Thank you very much.
Which version of Traktor 2 are you using?
Hi guys sorry for the delay,
im using Traktor Pro 2 on Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit (6.1, Build 7601)

These are the details of my internal sound card on my laptop,
I don't have my traktor open right now, but don't you need to assign the headphone outputs in the settings, not the outputs? (which are the main speaker outputs).
You're only on internal mode so it's going to be a settings issue. You may also want to use the ASIO4all driver as it looks like your built in soundcard is just an onboard HD chip and I highly doubt it has asio capability.
There's a setting in Traktor preferences for headphones. I believe it's called core audio or something like that. Just select the internal audio card and the headphones should work normal again.
As for the sound card issue. I would do what Rann said.

Hey sorry for the late reply. I looked at my settings and both outputs (monitors and mains) read not connected. However whether active or not it shouldn't affect your internal mode operation. I would try to reinstalling a fresh copy of Traktor. Install version 2.7.3 or whichever version you have and see if that helps. I wouldn't install anything older then the last version of 2.6. I know with the Mac versions, NI doesn't update any version older than 2.6.3. Or updates for anything older then Mavericks.
