Help with cover art in mp3

SO I used winamp to add cover art to my mix collection from the past 15 years and the photo doesn't seem to stick with the album.

what I mean is this...I play the MP4 of "I need R3hab" on my phone and his cover shows up with the track and background when the screen is locked.

I cant get my personal mp3s to hold the pic I add to work this same way.

any help appreciated
