Originally posted by Storyteller Those Euphonix controllers are so damn hot. Too bad they're mac only. Otherwise I would definitely be on the market for them. |

I think I'm going to stick with the vintage hardware route for the time being. The full studio The JD-800 MOTU 24 I/0, MOTU MIDI Express, Presonus Central Station, Korg Triton Rack, Roland JV-1080 Apple Mac Pro, Muse Research Receptor, Secondary audio PC |

Originally posted by cryophonik I added a few new synths over the past few weeks, so I thought I'd show some of 'em off. The Voyager and Mopho are new and I also picked up a DSI Poly Evolver Rack and Waldorf MicroQ (not shown). I'm going to compare all of them over the next few weeks and decide which ones to keep and which ones to sell. |
I would keep them all I hate getting rid of equipment, then wishing that I had it again to play with.

the 'machine room' aka, closet:
Creddick, Smart move putting the Mac in seperate room, I cant stand the noise PC's make, that shit gets to you after a while. Had to get a quiet case and a quiet cpu fan, otherwise PC's get unbearable after years of use.
I recognize a few things in your rack, what you got in there?

Originally posted by alanzo I wanted a dual woofer design, one woofer for bass and one for mids, rather than a separate sub since I don't like the idea of a 2.1 system. For a dual woofer design in a room my size, it was between the ADAM P33s and the Focal Twin 6 BEs. I got the Focals mostly because I found a great deal on eBay ($1,000 off retail). And because had I gotten the P33s, I may have eventually felt a need to upgrade to the S3As which are ridiculously expensive and huge. So I didn't want to be tempted to get them. |
love your tannoys!
it is the final set-up
for now
only a small investment for the future
