both have 3 original phono cards....the urei i paid $1600 and the bozak $800 but i got a new faceplate and I replaced all the pots
and added some addition line inputs on the bozak.....prolle could get 1500 for it now.I was offered 1400 and i not selling it.....although i found out today that allen heath EQ Isolator for the V6 can be used with ANY mixer ....the only hitch is u have to use the allen heath V6 power supply which cost 700 bucks.....so the isolator is 799 +700 for power supply....unless i can find some tech guru who can maybe bootleg the power supply....

i really don't use the eq's much but the A&H isolator which just be insane on the set up.......i think i have to get.....it be a real nice luxury to have

so if i have to sell either the bozak or urei to finance the isolater the bozak might have to go!!

A&H isolator would be nice, but it's just not reasonable. IF you can still find a Electrix eq-killer you might wanna give that a try, it would be cheaper and still really high quality.

i have access to 2 of them for total of $200 which can give me eqing on 4 channels....i going to get them and try them.....thanx for the recommendation,,,,,,i just hear they break alot or something

forgive my ignoarance...but doesn't using that Urei mixer substantially cut down on the ability to mix seamlessly? I would think not having eqs or filters would really suck? Idk, maybe I'm mssing something. i remember you had an A&H and Rane...those seem like better mixers than this one...

love it trinity
awesome stuff- part of me wishes i had bought the bozak i found...

Finally got a camera. Forgive the size... I just like the pictures big and bright. More to come soon...

Techs MK5, Pioneer CDJ-1000 MK2, Vestax PCV-275, (old) Whitelabels, Sony v7506 sitting atop 70-80 records (on the bottom of the first pic)

How do you find those phones for sound isolation?

Posted by nrjizer on Dec-25-2004 07:46:

Above the decks are my own little homemade warning signs, above those is the Ultra 5 lineup flyer, and above that (you can only see the bottom of it) is a Skatepile poster of Walt Austin doing a huge wallride to drop.

Behind the monitor: on the lowest side, from left to right: An original Chrono Trigger poster straight from the game box, followed by a little Skatepile poster (which I just realized is way crooked), followed by another original Chrono Trigger poster (of the U.S. box cover art), followed by yet another Skatepile poster, this one of Andy Kruse jumping over a highway bridge.

On the top side, left to right, we have first the Versus Books FF7 poster (which I understand is worth quite a bit of money, along with the strategy guide with which it came), another Skatepile poster (Dre Powell with a ledge royale), and an old No Fear soccer poster.

They isolate quite well... of course I've only compared them to my old v700, which blew ass all around. Plus they're rugged as hell and their sound quality can't be beat. Best headphones you can possibly buy.

Are those speakers on you wall klipsch pro media series? If so, sweet, at least im not the only guy here that uses pc speakers for monitors.

Posted by nrjizer on Dec-25-2004 10:08:

Yeah, there's nothing wrong with em. I'll probably buy good monitors sometime soon down the line, but for now they work just fine, and the money was better spent on the gear.

My AKA DJ Setup
-Two Stanton 30b's
-Stanton Mixer (looking for a new one, but it works out well.
-5 Speaker + Sub Sound System
-New 24 bit Soundcard
-Mic/Headphones
-My Laptop
-Of Course Vinyls .

It may not be much, but its something to start with . I'm putting in a nice surge soon to hopefully boost them a bit. Hell it does what i need it to do . Also when your not working, have no job, pretty nice to at least have something. I'm looking at buying Technics sometime this year.

man thats a good mix cd but no offence, but what u gona do if u get asked to mix in a club and u have a djm600 in front of you? you think you can mix that smoothly on a djm?

Posted by jupiterone on Dec-26-2004 03:26:

wouldn't he mix better since he's got eq's and not just rotary volume faders?I dont know much about rotary mixers so thats my guess.

uh.. you didn't notice that in the very post you quoted, it says what kind of tables?

Posted by DJ Coleman on Dec-26-2004 04:58:

I'm spinnin anything that i can get my hands ahold. Mostly Trance some Techno. Depends if i'm in the mood for more beats etc i'll go to Techno. But i spin mostly Trance... maybe that will help you know what i'm spinnin.

Also i have Stanton 30b's. Great tables at a low price. Pitch is jumpy, and dosn't have great torque, but hell i got my ways around all those problems... so I think these are just as good as you would say a Technic. You just gotta have practice .

I'm getting like 5-10 more vinyls tomorrow that will bring my total to close to 20. Small collection, but getting bigger.

i asked what u spinning there as in, what kind of records you spinning in the pic.

Posted by DJ Coleman on Dec-26-2004 05:09:

Hmm Michael Burns - Into Nothing (Blue Haze mix) and DJ Enrie & George Centeno - Gimme That Funk (Original Mix)

Nothing much lol. Not stuff you would spin probally cheap stuff, but i got a few nice titles, aka new stuff. But i like the old also.

The lighting in this pic is awesome! I love it! Do you have a 1600 x 1200 version for my background?
