#1 Phono = analogy input; Line = digital input; Since it's from turntables, you plug them into phono.

#2 The DJM-600 has 2 master outs. XLR outputs (for professional equipment) and RCA outputs. Master outs goes into the receiver/amplifier that's powering the main speakers (speakers the audience will hear). Booth/monitor outs goes to the amplifier that's power your monitor speakers in the DJ booth. If you only have 2 speakers, use the master out.

#3 Try ebay or pioneer's website to see if they ahve an electronic version.

i c i c.....thanx

Others may have more features and power but who needs it?
People have been doing amazing things on Techincs TT's for over 20 years and they are still the most used TT's in clubs. Though Vestax are good, they don't have 20 years of history being used and endorsed by the worlds best DJ's.
Who needs more features we won't use like a digital turntable? Next they'll be putting cup holders and cigarette lighters on turntables.

i'd love to have one of these when they're out!

Cool

Well I hope this works, used the spare film up from GG pics

Had them since early November last year Gouryella sticker has been on the tele since 99 tho

well, because they're the industry standard, why should we all buy them ? being the industry standard for over 20 years is not a plus anymore...

what's wrong with digital turntables? i don't get it, something that's new doesn't have to be bad... don't forget that techs were new once ! the way you guys confront to everything new as far as turntables are concerned: Get techs, they're the industry standard for over 20 years. SO WHAT ???

you think others won't last? you think they won't be as good?

what's wrong if there is something more than just a pitch fader? all those bells & whistles sometimes help people do some cool things you just CAN't with other (+older) turntables. you just keep saying: the more the extras on a turntable, the shorter it's lifetime. i think that's a BAD attitude. then DON'T go buy kaoss pad, don't go buy djm600, don't go buy anything new cause all these bells & whistles will just break down. YES, it sure is better safe than sorry, but if you keep it that way you'll be stuck with a mk2 for the rest of your life. so what if most of the clubs have techs ??? is it so hard playing on another deck than your own ?

FACE IT: techs are not the TOP anymore, your addiction to techs just won't let you see that...

hey, Boomer187, where did you get those slipmats ???

Posted by mute79 on Aug-01-2002 15:39:

^^^ its ok sinonick, you don't have to justify yourself buying shitty decks to us

you're the ones to justify yourself bying techs, never said they're bad. but they're NOT the best anymore...

Project T, nice setup you got there. i got the same stereo about a year ago, don't like it at all though...

shouldn't the speakers be facing at you ?

Posted by mute79 on Aug-01-2002 15:46:

sure they are... maybe in another 20 years when vestax decks prove to be reliable, we may be proven wrong... but right now, sorry bud

that's correct, i agree. techs ARE the most reliable decks, that doesn't mean we should all go for them...

besides, i don't know ANYONE who uses the same techs for about 20 years...

yea its crap, quiet as fuk with no bass hardly , i prefer the speakers facing away as i hav ppl round quite a bit, it just works better that way.

so that's what you look like T!

exactly.. I've heard many stories of tech's needing repairs after 4 or 5 years.

vestax and other tables may need repairs too, and it's just as easy to get them repaired.

have you guys actually tried the pdx-2000, 8000, or ttx1?

if you havn't, then don't go saying to everyone buy techs their the best, when you have used nothing better to compare them too.

Posted by jdat on Aug-01-2002 19:53:

what about m3ds ?

I'm thinking about getting some ....
I'd gladly buy vestax, but a tad to pricey + haven't used in a while forgot the feeling and I got nowhere to try them out

what you think ???

it is some manufacturer in Belgium. I couldn't find a site so I can't help ya there.

well, i have too, but i think that is just from abuse. I have also heard of people with 20 year old techs that are still running great. I will get back to you in 20 years and let you know mate

I haven't tried any of those tables. i'd like to. i have tried stanton str8-80s and str8-100s, and i didn't like either of them, the pitch wobbled about way too much.

what do you guys think of this turntable from vestax? what is the point of having it vertical, and how does the needle not slide off?

Posted by mute79 on Aug-01-2002 20:36:

i've worked on pdx 2000s and str8-80s... all i can say is UGH!!! vestax felt so different, i could not get used to them, they weren't "friendly" at all.... and i found str8-80s too inaccurate, just couldn't build up confidence into them...

The tonearm has some special suspension and design that makes it the most stable tonearm in the world, therefor it wont fall down at that angle.

the 2000's do feel different than the 1200's, especially the pitch slider I find.. but I feel it's more accurate and easier to manouver on the 2000s.

thats why I recommend people try different tables before the decide which ones to buy.

The stanton's do have less stable pitch, but that is expected considering the price difference.

Before i upgrade my tables (i've got stantons now) I would like to try out the ttx1s,, if they feel comfortable I would definately consider buying them.

Posted by JohnSmith on Aug-01-2002 22:42:

I don't see how the hell you would scratch on those..

i'd like to try out some vestax's sometime, but for now, my technics are all i need, i don't want to confuse myself.

Posted by JohnSmith on Aug-02-2002 00:19:

Nice to see a change around here with a BPM-1000 and not the regular 275 or 600..

Nice setup to Bumbum. Though the S-700 is quite expensive..

bum bum your setup looks nice , but isn't it a little tight? I don't know , it's just the angle of the pic that makes it look like that .....
