Funny. :P

I use two towels as dust covers for the synths/keyboards.

Update, just got Virus KC and the keyboard stand in.

Virus C desktop is for sale due to the KC I recently bought. PM an offer if interested. I'm in to do a trade as well, preferably with a nord lead 2x.

Lousy phone shots, but the idea comes across .

I took a cabinet out of my room and moved the other 2 drawers around and created a lot of extra space in the room which I'm very happy about .

looks realy peaceful and undistractive, i envy that, at my place i got too many distractions

Yeah. Only a few weeks ago. Got a great deal on it, too. Decided to get the keyboard this time. It's quite a good controller... after touch, nice keys, and arguably the best mod wheel / pitch bend ever made. Only draw-back is that the knobs are not assignable.

It's nice to have'er back, though. Once I started playing around with a few of my old presets... "oh yes... that's the stuff". The FM on this synth has no match or rival that I've ever heard.

How did you go about hooking the sub up? You have a separate Amp for it of course, but how about the audio signal?

Posted by Ry Thomas on Jul-12-2008 18:26:

Plug your sub into your soundcard/mixer, then the sub has outs to your monitors and you can adjust the crossover frequency etc, well mine has anyway

Posted by Zak McKracken on Jul-13-2008 12:39:

this is the amp i use on the back of the sub, it has line in and out. the out does not seem to be affected by the filter so my monitors plays full range. no problem tho they can handle it. between the soundcard and sub i have the volumekontroll u see on top of the sub and the headphone amp u see on top of the right rack.

soundcard -> headphoneamp -> inano volumekontrol -> sub -> monitors

quite simple realy. only problem is that some is jacks and some are rca so i had to get some converters there. id like everything to be balanced XLR realy but subamps with that costs abit.

Posted by Beyer on Jul-13-2008 13:57:

Ok, thanks! I Have a sub that's not getting used anymore, so maybe I'll make a home theater sub of it!

Posted by Zak McKracken on Jul-13-2008 14:22:

the amp is only 1000NOK on ljudia.no, works great but not super powerfull, 70w or so

Posted by Beyer on Jul-13-2008 18:22:

Nice! Sweet tip!

Do you use the coke bottle for sound fx?

what do u mean fx? i use it as a drum.

Posted by Lucidity on Jul-13-2008 20:14:

LOL , well if you blow in it from the side you can make wind fx

Posted by Zak McKracken on Jul-13-2008 23:30:

ok now i wonder. is it safe for the computer to stand next to the sub, like right next to it with no space? the bassdriver has a pretty powerfull magnet and i assume it can fuck up the HD on the comp? anyone? can it destroy anything else than the HD caus HDs are cheap and it might be worth the test.

Posted by Lucidity on Jul-14-2008 00:09:

Well if the sub is magnetically shielded it shouldn't matter too much but, I myself would probably worry about vibrations getting to the computer. Just feel the side, do you feel any on the panel?

Posted by Zak McKracken on Jul-14-2008 01:00:

vibration is not a problem i build the sub rock solid, everything goes into the floor and to my neighboors. no its not magnetic shielded.
