That desk is a great deal, picked one up a few months ago during a special for about 50 bucks shipped. Looks like yours is bowing? If you have the resources, go pick up some 1/8" wall 3/4" angle iron to reinforce it. Only gripe about it. I'll get some pictures up soon of how I set mine up.

Hells yeah. Staples. I paid $85

Are those 4-ways with the nautilus bass cone Active or Passive?

I wish reason's RV7000 reverb unit was available as hardware, though.

D'oh. Earth to dj_palm: It was a joke. (or was it?)

Cleaned my room, finally...

Obligatory Long Exposure Shot:

Yes, the speakers are at the same level and are prefectly situated for when I slouch in my chair.

Surreal HDR Shot (crummy):

Optimus Prime IS my acoustic room treatment:

I hear those Optimus Prime units are in short supply due to their effectiveness

I never consider the mc-202 as a poor man's 303! It's closer to the sh-101, only without the keyboard.

BTW, can I have your sirius?

Posted by Fledz on Aug-31-2007 13:23:

And while we're at it, can I have your Andromeda?

It's actually pretty much identical to the SH-101. Both are capable of TB-303ish sounds with proper tweaking, and the 202 has a similar sequencer (though not quite as easy to program)... which is why it was known as a "poor man's 303" for a while.

I've actually been considering selling it... so yes, for $900, you can have it

finally got a synth!! doesn't help the shittyness of my setup though Can't record with it yet, because i can't afford a decent soundcard/interface; all my tunes so far = software only <_<

Posted by WirelessEyes on Sep-01-2007 19:28:

I will post more later

this is my main workstation. G5 powering Logic Pro 7 with Yamaha NS-80 monitors

Autograph is from BT

Posted by WirelessEyes on Sep-01-2007 21:32:

Ah man! The yamahas sound fantastic. I really trust them because i write a lot of rock, hip hop and of course dance music and they always help me with a great mix. I also use the ns-50 for my dj set up

So you can get some angle iron that replaces the ones that come with the kit??? Without having to drill new holes or do anything to alter the original setup? I've got the same problem with the bowing and right now I'm just using some stuff i got piled up in the middle.
