Great tune. I can picture hearing this played by Myon & Shane54

Any thoughts on this?

Is it worth trying to make a track out of? How does the mix sound etc..?? Cheers [/QUOTE]

I like it. I would love to hear this track finished with an epic break and dope ass drop. keep us posted

Sounds real sweet, but that lil square wave and its melody don't do it for me.

Good underlying bass and grove, but some of the leads I think you could put your own stamp on some more as they are a bit presety. Interesting track overall., keep em commin.

Think I'm getting close to finishing this, anything not right for you?

Hope me saying 'I got a lovely little scooter' doesn't drive you nutz.

Got that Chemical thang goin on there eg Richard? =Op
Dig it...lots o crunch.
Not sure if you have a solid mix in the production yet or not but, I would say it could stand to use some EQ for some brightness. Really, only thing I could give as advice!

Uni is taking kinda all my time now, but i can squeeze some of it on making my shit. I'm kinda amazaded that i did this for 2 days, because usually it takes me a good amount of time to get ANYTHING done i just had the first beats of chorus and then i just started rolling.

Well maybe because of it you hear some random elements like piano keys and random notes, because its mashed together but i tried to cut most
of the mud off. Still doesnt sound that good but okay i guess.

I think i overused some bits like the keylead and the notes on that are out of control will have to look on that

AND the chorus thingy/ main melody which i aim is at the very end!

Well its needs MUCH polishin if i'm gonna finish that one. Should i even bother?

Really liked that, nice vibe and chords, sounds like deep house meets trance! nice summery feel to it

Not sure if this will be as a break in the track or as an intro to it, any thoughts on it would be good ..

pretty good man, would make a nice intro track into a heavy set, those arp'd plucks are nice

Just wondering if it would sound better without the silent part before the drop?

This is really cool one man, already nice sounding and well rounded production with overall good dynamic balance and smooth unwinding melodic development - Well Done so far !

Cheers,

Darek

I would definitely say that this idea is really sweet my friend but unfortunately your execution is not at the same level -> your volume level is really low in this WIP and because of that your dynamics suffer quite a bit. I had to turn my volume level almost all the way up to have some acceptable listening experience so try to spend a bit more time on this aspect of your production and result could give you a lot more benefits then you think

Just my $0.02

Cheers

@Trancelover007 - you said to ask for your honest opinion on Gravity if I wanted it. I do - there's a way updated version at the same link though.

You probably know this already Richard that this is completely not my type of genre I would normally listen to so I will not (and I should not) comment on style or melodic direction of your production my friend but I would agree with @scorpradio on his observation that some extra work is require on EQ level to smooth out some small freq issues and polish some crispness of your sound in this WIP-> this could elevate your track attractiveness quite a bit (particularly in this particular genre).

Cheers man,

Darek

You by now could and should call me Darek - give me a few so I can run it few times to have better take on it.

Can you post one more time this link Sean for my convenience

Cheers man,

Darek

Sean, we will need to work on it in sequence as I would like to spend enough time (and pay attention to every detail) on every little thing.

This will need to be a conversation back and fort between (and I'm hoping that more people will join us in this) you and me

Let start with intro till 0:30 min - sound really good man , I wouldn't change anything at all (like depth and sound of it).

0:30 min part till 1:30 (actually this has two parts, one with past intro at 0:30 till 1:00 and second pre-main part at 1:00 till 1:30) - this is the one I would like to tweak a bit (and remember this is only from my perspective or my view for this track). Beyond those main chords you are playing (which as long as you believe they are the "one") on your piano, I would try to improve sounds of it (a bit more crispness and dynamics or maybe a clarity like sound from live piano, could give in a good reference), also those sweeps sound effect which cames with every piano chords changes are need to be a bit more prominent with massive but quick cutoff on this end of the sweep) - if you know what I mean?
Part 1:00 I would like to hear more crispier bass sound, more aggressive and sharp to slowly prep everything for your main 1:30 part - which sounds really good at the moment (tho I would also hear more crisp and aggressive sounds of those interplaying bass lines).

Give me your take on my suggestions so far and we will take another step after that.

Cheers man,

Darek

The morphing bass is nice, but i think if you narrowed some elements down to get more room for your piano keys or add little dynamic to them (fe. putting them more to the stereo and possible add more fx?). Plus the lead on 3:30 seems to be too high on mids/mid-lows.

Just some toughts. (:

Did't spot this its a beast! Luv the pluck work! Maybe i would consentrate a little bit to percussion, because there should be room for it! Great athmospherics!

This would be excellent addition to this potentially sweet production.

And sorry, I forgot to add - if anyone can do it -> you would be the one in this genre as you have good taste for it !!!

Past 3:00 mark is coming.

That was actually my track that he quoted but went wrong and it looked like he posted it lol

Look for the ninjitsu track thats his.. Speaking of which the bit from 45s to 58s is really groovy, just needs the bass to be more huge!
