Eh? Complete opposite son!

Larger screen, lower res = more readable from a distance.
Larger screen, higher res = unreadable.

I wouldnt want my 22" to go much higher than this. Many 20" LCDs still do 1680x1050 despite the fact that theyre 2" smaller, so they give you a larger screen area per inch of physical size. I went from a 14" widescreen laptop doing 1280x760 haha, so I do know what you meana bout wanting to get as much out of the panel as you can. BUT, there does come a point where it's too much. 1680x1050 is too much for me.

Yea, I guess I'll have to test them out before I get any

Or I can get a 30" and run it at the insane res of 2560x1600

Yeah sure! All I was saying was that wasn't the main reason I got it.

^ i sure hope not, that would be a bit excessive lol. The one nice thing about digitals like that, is they usually have far superior hammer action to a typical 88-key controller. I have the Kawai ES3, and the hammer action is the closest i've felt to a real piano (next to some of those digital grands) i've always hated how crappy m-audio, cme etc. controllers feel on the 88-key versions.

I just got this beast of from ebay the other day..
This is some serious gear, probably the only piece of hardware
You'll ever need. As you clearly can see, it's the Nord Lead 6, you heard me.. 6! Well, enjoy this massive piece of hotness:

It's my lovely modded UC33e. Black paint and a artistic arrangement of silver knobs, mmmm.

You can prob. pick one up for $300ish new these days. $50 for mod.

Oh it's a UC33e?

The colour and modding put me off :P

How do you like it? Worth modding it?
