The Pioneer, by far. I only bought the Denon because Numarks suck, and it was the cheapest thing with the functions I wanted. As soon as I leave school, i'm selling it. The Pioneer cd player is a serious DJ machine. IMO, the Denon is a toy.

I always had an interest for the Denon because it has .mp3 playback and most importantly is is firmware upgradable.

Im not that cheap that I cant burn CD for a single song/album, but like I said, the most important thing for me is that its firmware upgradable. But I do think the Pioneers look nicer though.

What? I always thought the Denon CD decks were good too. They have a spinning platter, don't they? I myself have two Pioneer CDJ 1000MKII's but I have never tried any other ones. Why do you say the Denon is a toy? What is the biggest difference between the two? How does the Denon feel like? Does it feel more "plastic" than Pioneer?

it works fine when it's setup normally, and works battle style w/o the flight cases. I just posted a couple more pics from last weeks get together at a coworker's new house. (i guess his neighbors really don't like us) lol good times... :P :cheers:

How can you people dj facing a wall? I can't understand that!!

DJ chex, how good is the Ineko FX unit? Does it compare with the Pioneer EFX-500?

the ineko isn't a bad little guy. Especially considering it cost me only $75. The VCF Filters are the main effects i use on it and they sound pretty good. Otherwise some effects like LFOs, that require beat sinc it really is not as good as i hoped. Here's a little review i wrote back on futureproducers.com

I was going to ask the same thing! I have Alesis M1 Active MK2s and I'm looking for stands for them something like yours! What are they worth and where can I get some? Are you happy with them? Stable? Cheers
