Darek the production is very nice (i think you posted this wip before at some stage it sounds familiar?)
I would lose that reverbed tom sound in the breakdown, doesnt really fit imo

Not sure on the way the song changes after the break? Does it need to change like that? I was kinda hoping it would drop in as it was before the break

Also i would be inclined to boost the very very top end to give a little bit of sheen

I like it though, its very difficult to get this type of track right without being too cheesy

Nice music Dar, can you put this on youtube so I can listen to it more often after you're finished? I dont like soundcloud > <

I dont really have any criticism though. Reminds me a lot of Tom Cloud - Million miles away, and like that track so gj.

hopefully not spamming too much - heres a cheeky 2 tracker, first one may need some tinkering as the timing/groove seems to be off
2nd one is a track i started this evening and is as far as ive got with it

I think that sounds really good and deep (at least for my taste) + that noise sound (which you use with some reverb on it) is really cool and fill the overall space really nicely -> I guess you are closing really quickly on adding some finishing touches before releasing it - me like it

Thanks man and yes this is a song which was previously on here in the slightly different form as it is right now - I'm actually trying to go more Trancy direction at this point.

Agree with that idea - not a particular fun of it myself (will replace it with something more suiting this atmo) - appreciate!!!

It is a few bars only (with a breaks incl.) - a slight change in vibe/groove for attractiveness purposes only - I'm still finding myself in an active Trance mode mentally lol

Yep, I will slightly shift the balance to the top of the sounds spectrum - I also notice this myself before - cool ear man.

And you think it still sounds "cheesy" to you - Thanks for all your time and comments man

I think previously you mention something about vocal levels across this song? - and you were right about that - I'm still monkey-ing with this issue at the moment -> vocal recording wasn't really good (and clean) in quality so on the end I had to spend some extra time on polishing and masking all of those imperfections with some serious amount of vocal DeEsser on top of it - good ear man !!!

Cheer Brother,

Darek

No - thats my point in that i dont think its that cheesy really... well as much as is allowed in that style anyway

Darek her vocals mind me La Roux, really the basis of quite something special in places.

I wouldn't mind remixing it. I enjoyed your version and I would look to conjure up a 'hard' version.
My computer is fucked and am awaiting it to be fixed.

Your break - personally I think it should be more unusual, like fading to a single unusual weird sound before banging back in but you know it's just a taste comment is all.

Very good melodic synths mate.

I want to hear moar groove, maybe add some perc?
Nice nevertheless.

Ya Dar, just nitpicking someone can ALWAYS pick something, but I feel there is too much treble at some points. For some reason, I would use this track as reference, hell it did sell all those copies

Like how this vocal blends with the rest of the sound/s - very smooth and easy on your ear lol - we will see if I could get my song to the same level - it would be my ultimate test as a producer lol - if not, I will quit !!!!

I like it, i'm one of those pricks who listen to the dub version of every release so not so sure how much i like female vocals throughout the entire thing but the track itself is real nice imo.
Kinda reminds me of that 2004ish ISOS music that i liked so much, good not too overbearing music.

I like the 2nd track, though that hat is a bit annoying (maybe its just too loud.

My first attempt at Trance, Unicorn Trance.

edit: updated with better sidechain & little fixes.

Looks like nobody is willing to take on this WIP from you Juan lol so let be the first one and start with this: at this point I think you have your most promising and interesting concept developed so far (out of so many you posted over here) but there is still a lots of room for improvement (at least from my perspective ).

I would start first with this observation -> base line is too loose and wondering too much around your whole WIP. I would either increase loudness of the existing mid-range one (which comes around 0:32) or add additional mid-range one to directly support you low-end one.

Another thing would be to add off-beat snare at 0:55 part - will or should add some nice rhythm (drive) to your track -> you also should do that (add something new to consistently increase this drive/energy) at 1:23 and 1:37 mark.

Not bad at all man !!!

Is not really my cup of tea so I can't comment on style and attractiveness of this production but there is definitely something in it which make me listen to this WIP few good times - I think this track could grow to something really cool and interesting !!!

I will give some more feedback shortly but having probs playing SC.

In the meantime here's a lil techno dubby thing - nothing out the ordinary but the kinda groove I like myself.

The main arpy synth is a patch I made in my Roland Fantom, and recorded in live as I twiddled it's knobs.

I like the absence of a clap. And the mood is quite intriguing.

It has tons of space for improvement. The foundations are there, but it needs more color.
