Given that I'm not running RCAs any longer than 5 feet, next to power cords, it's not much of a problem.

I've decided to take the plunge and commission a carpenter to build me a new set up for my decks..

I'm starting to get real back problems with how low down my decks are right now. Looking forward to see what he comes up with - I gave him a few photos from this thread of things that I like the look of so hope it turns out well. Should be done within the next few weeks - pics to follow.

Now I just need a decent amp and speakers so I can get rid of my crummy altec lansing pc speakers, sigh.

No offense to Alefort or his picture, but they sell that at like, every mall poster store.

Overview:

Close up:

Gear:
2 Technics 1200's M3D
1 Denon DN-X1500
2 Gemini CDJ-20s
M-Audio Torq

The oldest things in the setup (the Gemini CDJ-20s) have survived since I was in high school (7 years ago), and I've actually found Torq kinda flakey with my laptop (I think it's just old and I need a more dedicated laptop for it?), so I actually still use them regularly. (and yes, this is a pretty depressing law school apartment in the middle of Indiana...)
