Maybe you should reboot the thread with the first example being your own.

I was going to make a thread asking about a couple of different things, but hopefully this idea can take off.

the purpose is pretty simple. A quick source for people to go to and see what say most people are using on their drum bus. There is lots of stuff on rnb and hip hop but not so much in dance. For nice punchy in yer face snares I've lately concluded Vengeance dance 3 is pretty unbeatable, yikes.

Dave put me onto XFER NERVE for drum duties, and now it's all I use, nicest product of all time for me.
Some of the samples in it are badly organised imo. For example 'yellow drum kit' means fuk all so I have to waste time and listen to what a yellow drum kit actually is.


For washed out reggae dub long delays I lurve TAL Dub delay 3 which is free.

Drum buss - not something I use a lot. I will tend to make a kik, export it to turn it into a sample, job done. I would then do the same for all the percs trying to deal with how they all sound in relation to one another at the point of making each sample. In this way I can mimick what a drum buss would result in anyway. I've used drum busses and not noticed any benefit in the final outcome.

Although I have a good system, there is this inherent bug which makes me like working this way, otherwise I get outages and it all cases up.

Your communication skills leave a lot to be desired unless you're berating people, but the thread is in fact a very good idea.

honestly i don't know how anyone could be more clear. I asked for categories. Not what you use for said category. That is another stage. And then you have morons posting what they use. And that is why said concept of allowing people to type anything other than a plugin will always turn to shit. People seem to think their process is really fucking great and have to write about it. Which is why, category -> plugin. simple. I honestly have no fucking idea why people are so confused thinking this is the thread for said endeavour. This is just a preamble which i think would be pretty hard to miss even with my limited writing abilities.

I am not ridiculing, i am lambasting. When that whole menage a 30 cluster fuck thread where you all defended me saying i contribute yada yada, well because of said contribution, i don't see why it is so fucking hard for people to either answer what i had asked or fuck off. I made a simple request. I am so fucking tired of having to fuck around reading responses that are not pertaining to said request. My eyes get paid by the minute. My ass by the half hour.
