Wow, it installed on OSX 10.6.8., don't see that very often these days.

I haven't even had a chance to try it yet. How is it?

Posted by Storyteller on May-28-2015 10:41:

It is my last day off before starting my new job June 1st. As such I've taken some time removing all non-functional links and where possible replacing them with their current equivalents or mirrors.

Also the suggestions by Cryo and Mr. Mystery have been added to the list.

Be sure to review the first post of this thread for the most current list!

Working fine here on Reaper and Bitwig, did you make sure the DLL is in your VST folder after the install?

Really like the FuzzPlus3 Cryo, working great on some rolling techno basslines!

Not convinced on using it as a standalone filter but the distortion itself is great!

Great list! Good job Storyteller and all.

Not sure if it fits in this list, but I stumbled on a free app for some easy musical calculations (note lengths, bpm etc.):
Audiofile Calc

A handy app which groups some of the more common calculations and conversions.
Better than doing all the manual labour by using formulas each time, or online calculators.

P.S. Synth1 is also available for Mac

Hey Farris,

Will create a section for mobile apps in the following days. Thanks!

I've just appended a samples section based on "Help: need samples".

And as another note to self I need to add this plugin too: Free Awesome Gate Plugin (32/64 VST/AU/RTAS/AAX)

For the update check the first post! http://tranceaddict.com/forums/show...threadid=604422

Yass! Welcome back to the fold. Looking forward to hearing some prods from you.

I'm actually finally getting the studio setup too not sure if I should finally give ableton a proper look, or just stick with logic.....

Hey ST great lurking

Well I can't remember whats free on my setup as I rarely change anything.

I pretty much use cheap TB effects in every production, maybe not that epic for some but I am happy wit my sound so these seem to work for me

https://www.toneboosters.com/plugins.html

I have older versions than some of those shown in the link.
Reelbus is excellent as is the basic compressor and Barricade, the limiter. Ferox is like an old retail tape deck which I also love - why would a tape deck have a delay, but it does and it's great for automated pitching delay movements on synths.

I just noticed their Bustools 3 goody bag for 40 euros!

Posted by DJ RANN on Feb-08-2019 18:35:

Well, kinda everything's free if you know where to look

Posted by cryophonik on Feb-10-2019 06:00:

I don’t know if it’s ever been discussed here, but Sonar Platinum was discontinued by Gibson, then acquired by Bandlab and is now free (minus all the third-party bloatware)

Thanks Dave, added it.

Also went through the list. Apart from 3 I got to validate the entire list and update links where needed.

Damn, that's quite the list.

The hero we needed but didn't deserve.
