New Radio Show

Started my own Radio station, could use some creative input.

Can find it on ShoutCast by searching trance addiction uk

Any input would be helpful as I've never done anything like this before.

Edit, for the time being I've decided to use shoutcast only, might re-add alternative streams again soon once I've worked out a few bugs.

May we offer one suggestion that may help you guys out esp if people want to listen to your station via their cell phone. Change your player to the NEW Flash player...

Thanks. I'd been using a third party for the alternative streams which left my options limited, have decided to launch a purpose built website so I can tackle the issue myself. Set up a simple webpage in the short term and sticking with just SHOUTcast in the short term while set everything up.

Thanks for the heads up, better to get these issues sorted just now rather than later.

Your host, Craft: "Hi everyone! Welcome to episode 6 of Feed the Raver podcast with me your host Craft. We're closer to Detroit's Movement Festival at the end of May, also know as DEMF. I just came back from playing in Detroit this weekend at The Old Miami for the Cultured Citizens event called "Sunday Citizens". It's a massive annual event with 2 stages organized by Detroit's Dru Ruiz. He will be playing for us with Twice as Proper in NY at National Underground on May 18th along with Detroit's Corbin Davis, co-founder of Blank Code. Last week we published an interview with Project313, also co-founders of Blank Code as part of Feed The Raver partnered official media coverage with Movement Festival. Our correspondant, Jenny Arredondo, will be interviewing many artists playing the festival itself as well as the other artists at the after parties surrounding the festival. This week check out her interview with Toronto's International superstar, Carlo Lio right on our website, www.feedtheraver.com. Also check out her interview with Jhon Spark from Amsterdam. He is an amazing producer and is today's guest on this episode. He recently remixed my "Brooklyn Beautiful" track coming out next month on Subtrak records. 1. What made you decide you wanted to become a Dj and when did you start producing?

-The Will 2 share Music & joy, i started producing in 2005.

2. What are your influences?

-I have many influences & can say that i have been influences from a really young age. I have a really musical family and my uncle was the one who stimulates my ears with electronic sounds.

3. What inspires you?

-Life

4. How would you describe the night life in Amsterdam?

-A lot variation, many clubs with different kind of electronic styles. zo a lot 2 choose. Tip (Trouw,Studio 80, Sugar Factory, Wetergaas)

5. There are many festivals around Europe. Which one has been your favorite?

Awakenings festival and Time warp

6. Tell us about Glitch?

-Glitch is my own concept and is the world where I live. The concept is about creating a glitch in your head (glitch is a fault on the system). This is something that if it wasn't there then it wouldn't be what it is. It is a combination with Techno, Visual arts & Performance.

7. What are your current projects? Your next gigs? What is next?

-My current protects are Glitch, Glitch Festival, Radio Hosting, Whats on your mind, In deep'nDance Records.

Bio:
Jhon Christian Cardenas was born and raised in a very modest family in Cali, Colombia. ?Thanks to his uncle from the Netherlands he got in touch with the electronic sounds at a very young age. From that time on his love for the music began and his dream to become a DJ/Producer started to grow. ?At the age of 17 he packed his bags, left Colombia and moved to Amsterdam. It didn’t took him a long time to make his dream come true. He started in a small studio of a friend in Amsterdam. He played a little, mixed a little and finally he accomplished a spark and made a sound to bring up the heat. First he showed his friends, in that same little studio, that he didn’t need much to let them feel his love for producing music. After that, he participates in a few DJ-contests. Here, he realised that being on stage and see how the crowed was touch by his sounds, gave him the ultimate feeling of happiness. He was so enthusiastic about music and especially making music that he signed up for the SAE electronic music production (EMP) and after that he did the course of Audio Engineering in AVA studio’s Hilversum. ?His first Remix New York immediately got released on the label PM deep(NL).

Jenny Arredondo had an interview with Carlo Lio , who will be closing the Underground Stage from 9 to 11pm on Monday May 28th, She also interviewed Project313, co-founders of Blank Code. They will be playing at the festival on Monday May 28th at 7 to 8pm at the Made in Detroit Stage, as well as hosting a massive Blank Code Droid Behavior afterparty at the Works on Sunday May 27th.

This week, here in New York, Twice as Proper will be hosting a Movement warm-up party at The National Underground with Detroit's Dru Ruiz of Cultured Citizens and Corbin Davis, who is partner with Project313 and co-founder of Blank Code. Dru Ruiz will be playing at the festival at the Made in Detroit stage on Monday May 28th from 2 to 3:30pm as well as with me at Belle Isle on May 24th and also we me at The Works on May 28th.

OLIVER CAINE (HIDDEN RECORDINGS)
Born and raised in Washington, D.C., Oliver Caine found a passion for music at a very early age. Eventually picking up the bass guitar at age sixteen, and later on the drums, Oliver was soon playing in bands in the D.C. and Virginia area. It wasn't until 1999 that he fell in love with electronic music and never looked back. Within a few years he had purchased turntables and began to play out at various venue's in the D.C./VA area. After moving to South Beach in 2004 and gaining exposure to Miami's underground Dirty House and Tech scene, Oliver soon began spinning at numerous clubs and afterparties in Miami and D.C., perfecting his signature blend of dark, underground, House and Techno. Today, Oliver Caine resides in Virginia, is working on several production projects, and continues to perform across the United States and abroad.

It's finally here! Detroit's 2012 Movement Festival.
The festival begins today May 26th with over 100 acts on 5 stages in 3 days with major local events all over town all week already. I played on Thursday at an open air event on Belle Isle for Detroit's Dirty electronic Productions, and Friday night at Bookie's for DJ Seoul's "Bang Tech 12" 16th anniversary event. I'll be playing at several more afterparties in Detroit during the festival. Today, Saturday May 26th, I'll be playing from 5 to 6pm at the Map Point event, which is a free day event just 2 blocks from Hart Plaza where the festival is held. His name is Joe Mattiello and he has been recently working on productions this past year and is the selection of the month. Enjoy!"

BIO:
Joe Mattiello grew up not to far from New York City in a family filled with band members, opera singers and computer whizzes. Having been introduced to both computers and music since a young age it's only natural that electronic dance music would embody him. He was trained in classical piano as a child, and later became a drummer as a young teenager. In the late 90's he discovered Trackers and electronic music and craved more. With no access to a record store with dance music, the recent birth of MP3s gave Joe the avenue to hunt down the new style of music he craved. From DJ Icey, The Chemical Brothers, Paul Van Dyke, Carl Cox, Dave Clarke; all names that were quickly filling up the family computer. His understanding of computers and his musical background gave way to his desire to produce electronic dance music on his own.

Joe is currently a successful computer programmer, writing custom audio software and plugins, which are always a work in progress. He is currently taking time away from his career to focus on becoming a respected electronic music producer and DJ.

We've had several emails from DJs saying they don't have time to do exclusive mixes, although we'd prefer them, we'll accept any mixes now, as we don't want to turn quality mixes down just because they aren't exclusive.

PS I updated the comment regarding Soundcloud to make it more clearer...

"If you mix or produce on CD or vinyl and you have a full mix featuring recent releases please upload an mp3 of your mix to your favourite hosting website. We recommend www.soundcloud.com which is free and easy to use."

i.e. you can host the mp3 whereever you like. We just know Soundcloud is the most popular/reliable one.

Mixes are to be no more than 1 hour long and as the name suggests it can be any style that fits in the Trance genre.

I am looking for deep house, tech house, techno, anything underground electronic DJs to do monthly podcast that I am looking to start as part of my blog. This is a great opportunity to share new music, display music that you don't usually play during your live sets and promote yourself.

Looking for talented guest mixers to feature on my radio show ,"Individual Identity"!

I have started a online mix show on www.technohouse.fm entitled "Individual Identity" and I am looking for talented guest mixers to feature for the second hour on future episodes! Technohouse.fm features shows from Chris Leibing, Sharam, UMEK, Tom Hades, Leon Blaq and many more! Below is the bio for the show.

INDIVIDUAL IDENTITY – is a two hour weekly show hosted by DJ/Producer, Pablo Artigas. It is based out of the NJ/NY area, and it broadcasts to a global audience through TechnoHouse.fm and other stations! Individual Identity attempts to bring people together through Trance, Progressive, and EDM, and also features guest mixers from all around the world to showcase their talent; hence the name of the show. Individual Identity was launched exclusively on TechnoHouse.fm in January of 2013, and has been going strong since then. Pablo Artigas’s vision for “Individual Identity” is rather simple; play trance and progressive for the trance lovers, and have guest mixers play their unique sounds to accommodate their audience. On Individual Identity, Pablo Artigas gives his guest mixers freedom when submitting a guest mix for the show. Their mix can be any genre of Electronic Dance Music. So far, the genres of music submitted by guest mixers for “Individual Identity” that have aired on the show have varied anywhere from Trance, House, & Techno. We here at Individual Identity, continue to look forward to this diversification of music through our guest mixers in the next coming years!
