Nothing yet...it was sitting in a church basement for over 17 years so it was almost like brand new. Haven't converted it to Midi yet but I might not...

17 years in a church basement? I can understand a church wanting to own one now, but 17 years ago??? I bet they thought it was an organ

Is that an original 303??
I love acid sounds.
Whats that oldskool looking synth next to it?

Yes, that is original 303.

The oldskool looking synth is kinda oldskool, nothing special though. It's Korg PS-900 (presetsynth), most of it's presets are useless, but it has great electric bass, synthe bass and noises. I don't play it alot, but it gets sampled every now and then.

Other than those, there are: SCI prophet 2000, Roland MKS-50 (alphajuno), Korg EX800 and technics turntables and pioneer mixer.
Some of my stuff is still waiting to be moved. More pics later on.

You should mod your EX-800..

Yes, I intend to. Just this morning, in work, I tried to find suitable potentiometers, but didn't find any. Have to order

the minimalist studio

I have a few pieces of gear at a mates house so its pretty minimal right now, but its really all I need right now. Take a look.

The main rig.

Modded Korg and my keyboard (mmm white.)

My modded UC33e (black is such a sexy color!)

Behringer 8CH Mixer (For my bass of course.)

You can tell these were cheap monitors (Used and stripped of outer plastic.) No brand name.

Another shot of the UC33e.

My Fender P-Bass.

And what keeps it all together. The Intel CD iMac. 20" is good!

Not shown is my ragged Pro-5, all my software, turntables/final scratch, and the other goodies that go into my music. Shows that you don't need a big studio to get big results.

Enjoi.

I think I must have the worst producing setup of anyone on TA. No monitors. No hifi speakers. No keyboard...

But I got an Access Virus B! The 7 watters on my desk kind of destroy the power of the beast though.

Spray paint. You can talk to me more about it on AIM "ambioun.music@mac.com" but it basically includes taking the guts out and painting the body, then reassembling. I can walk you through it if you want to. Just email at starwind@sunflower.com or AIM "ambioun.music@mac.com".

Here's mine The speakers are from my home theater and soon to be replaced by proper ones..

Posted by T-Soma on May-30-2006 10:30:

That is one sexy studio!!!

Did you build the table yourself?

Posted by LENG on May-30-2006 10:33:

i hate you guys

Posted by Mikk on May-30-2006 11:31:

Thanks Tommy

I built the table myself. I also have the right side rack for it but there's no room for it atm..

I've been thinking of putting the JP8000 on the table where the keyboard is, hiding the WS somewhere and fitting the other end to make the table symmetrical. But then again..I don't have any rack equipment to put there yet..
