I am starting a new business building bespoke waterfalls and this track I am making will go on my website alongside images / vids of waterfalls I've made.

Waterfall building bares similarities with the music production process, intensely frustrating yet satisfying.

Very nice and clean Richy, wish my work was tightly as yours, mine feel loose, and great mix of synth too

Posted by SynthNinja on Aug-22-2018 03:16:

My attempt at melody, I may texture right but not notes I guess. Thankfully I got a mentor on facebook without having to pay a fee like you would on a subsciber network.

this is old too and its had my crescendo over BT's.

Sounds excellent mate, I suppose a chord change may have helped, but the track works good anyway

Would you teach me, I'll be your apprentice, my guy is pretty busy with Kids and work.

My attempt to move the subs with the melody yet I think I failedd miserably right.

Nice loop Woony, groovy idea. I would like a wider stereo on mix, but that's just my preference

Starts nice, even though i'm not a fan of that kick. At 1:48 sounds a bit rushed, that arpy thing comes to fast out of nowhere for me, that transition should be longer or different. Acid bit that follows is nice, but after that i kinda lost interest.

Another shot on this, added some sample vocals of Laurie Webb i've found within fl studio. I'm not sure if it's any good, i think i also fucked up the mix so will probably return to previous version.

little too cheesy for me, sorry Gordan
did you ever finish the other one? remember it as being heavier than your usual

I know it does need fixing on certain things, too long on my headphones so ears are rekt

This sounds spectacularly beautiful, love the bass drum, percs and pads you got going on, love to know where and how it ends

In this [wip] I finally pulled the plug and subscribed to splice for 8 bucks, I remember Lira back then making a thread on it. All I can say its def a great investment and I think I just hit tip of the ice berg with just samples, its like you can pick the best clips from each sample cd instead spending like 70$ on each onewithout knowing what your gonna get.

Also there are synths and synth presets also that I haven't dabbled in yet. Anyhow I managed to finish the BT prog breaks rework in several hours with my crescendo, yeah you guess no key change yet still, I didn't want to conflict with the cello and violin in the background, so I tried.

Now I'm ready to move on to new single after Dream Wave with a key change this time, so far its coming along nicely, started it last night.

Dang I cant hear any of you guys tracks on Hearthis, I will try again later.

Here is my latest release on Springtube Liquid, it's a remix of a Stephen Kroos track entitled Phenomenology. This is own mastering, the release will be pro-mastered thank fuk

Very nice, Rich. You always surprise me with variety of music you do. Nice sounds selection. Some of them are very inspiring for me right now.

Ha! JOEL!!! Are you seeing this?! lol (he does peek in here every so often btw)
Imo this track is an untouchable. Sorry, just my opinion.
The reason I feel that way is because of the simplicity of the original. Changing ANYTHING in the lines of arrangement disrupts the integrity. Again, totally my opinion.
Secondly, the percussion offers no variance and gets stale due to the repetition.
I know it is probably fun to do and I have dabbled in trying to do some remixes of Deadmau5 but just found that it was better left alone..lol
No matter what I did it just sounded "off" and not saying that no one else couldnt do it justice, but I couldnt.
I also think that is why you dont hear many remixes at all from any song Joel does. Sure, there are some...but in comparisson to other producers? Not alot out there.
Sorry Gordan..just my feelings.

-------------------------------------------------

This Track. It is not danceable at all..lol I have been on my New Age trip as of late and came across an old project. This, oddly enough is a remix as well (never heard of a New Age remix before..lol)
This is actually an ode to an old producer by the name of Patrick O'Hearn. Besides his solo material, he used to be in a 80's synth rock band called Missing Persons. Always loved his stuff and always wanted to do my own "reboot" of this track.
At the moment I would say it is about 90% complete. I need to tighten some areas up but other than that it is nearly completed.
I guess I am just looking for over all thoughts. I know it is not your normal track submission here but..changing it up

Posted by gordan100 on Sep-01-2018 11:08:

It's not a deadmau5 remix, that wasn't my intention, i just realized in the process of making that the chords i had sounds somehow familiar. I'm also pretty sure that he got better things to do in life than peaking here

Well...when he does reply it is rather a highlight lol

Posted by gordan100 on Sep-01-2018 23:38:

I've changed the drums and some other things. Hey, maybe Joel will reply now. Common dude, don't be like that
