A few question/notices

Is that you on guitar? What is that like 3 layers of acoustic guitar work? clean man

If I had ANY critique at all it would be on the percussion elements, primarily at the beginning surrounding that rim shot. That verb may be a little high for the period. Albeit adds back end atmosphere as the song progresses, at the start it somewhat occupies the most space.

I had no idea you were talented in that genre. And tbh, I think we all here SHOULD encourage and showcase our outside talents on this thread more. Hell, it isn't like we haven't been here for ages anyway. And personally, I really enjoy seeing everyone's growth over the years. Yea, it is Trance dominated but is that we all specifically listen to? I hardly think so. At least this is my opinion and can't speak for anyone else.

Thanks Phil for your good work man - as far as this guitar question, no this is not me playing as I don't have classic guitar anymore (only electric at the moment) so I use Kontact version of SOL Spanish Guitar Volume 1 by Robin Boult which has tons of great solos and reefs which you can use in your track - just need to have some kind of idea for melody lol, also drums will be adjust when I layout this whole track - thanks you man

There is so many version of guitar VST's that you will need to personally work with it to see if particular flow is working with you also are you looking for classic or electric one as there are different packages of the software.

Check this article and try some of them to see which one would work for you - I don't need electric as I'm playing myself ans so far was good enough lol.

Sorry, one more think I forgot to answer for you: there are only two layers of Spanish guitar inter-playing with piano.

Cheers Phil,

Darek

Overall everything sound good maybe except the snare that comes in every once inawhile pops my ears. Guitar sounds off the chain, idk how you made those soothing vocals fit in the track, never heard female like soaring mixed with spaniard guitar but it def works here, anyhow great mix too man.

Very nice track Darek. It could be a laydown version of mpeople - don't look any further. Try to put Heathers accapella on it.

Here is another versions of track 546

Posted by SynthNinja on Aug-19-2018 10:51:

Not bad Gordan, Solid overall, I can see a signing with your tracks some time in the future., well done.

In this I added my basic signature AVB style baselines and ended with Sasha's stems, real easy stuff

Believe it or not, Airdrawndagger was made on genelecs and collaboration with Charlie May using the Virus TI.

Edit: All done, this well def go nowhere so you can grab if you want.

My attempt at prog breaks, yeah w/e.

The story with this one is that the project file got lost in an old HD and thought I had no clue what I was doing. Scott Bond's manager kept pestering me about when I was gonna finish this but I told the truth, coulda been my ticket right there for a nice start or not idk just thinkin.

I used the ultrnova at this one.

After some hiatus I looked endlessly for it, the project file, couldn't find it

Thanks anyway Gordan.

Ah, sorry to hear that

I stumbled on some crickets recording today [it seems they do their noise at 127bpm ], and play some melodies on top of it out of boredom. Crickets are now only left at the end of wip. How is mix and does this have any potential?

Yeah you got it, different than the crickets I remember as in BT - Remember. This sounds like synth wave to me, I can't judge the beginning, I need an intro to give me some back ground on how you got there, mix down is fine as before and everything is balanced tonally too.

Posted by gordan100 on Aug-20-2018 01:48:

Thanks for listening. Crickets are a bit louder and wilder than those on "Remember" . Yeah, some intro would be nice i guess.

Your WIPS before the melody would catch my ear, on this one its little harder to detect that same flair you have. You could try filter automation on that saw to give it some character although come to think is that only trance technique, haven't heard it in synth wave yet I think.

Don't fret Gordan, not even BT makes 4 different godspeeds if you get what I mean. Also, I'm sure someone will find that particular crescendo handsomely fascinating if not better, because as sure as you know, taste varies from person to person

George is getting upset!! Don't worry, i'm not getting upset that easily I've put that stuff here to get an opinion. It's fresh for me but i realize that its not on pair with previous two wips. Thank you, i really appreciate your comments on my wips!

Your almost there bro, I hear similarity... over here.

You nailed the sub bass exactly how old school Markus does it, and melody texture detail ain't that far off but the melody notes well not like Schulz more like George which is better imo.

Now finish it.....

Actually, George is from tv show Seinfeld, but i understand what you meant by this . Thank you.

Yeah, well i have tried to finish it. This is newer version, i've posted it allready. So, i should go back to 546 wip in your opinion?

Gordan, i do have some spare time, since your gonna finish that tune and start this one gain, and hopefully make it better, I think 90's progressive breaks feels like a fueled jam session (Korg electribe Style) and I just chuck my ideas while grooving to the beat. I wish could do the same for progressive trance but I try so many different things when it comes to structure and arrangement but to no avail, sucks there aren't youtube vids on 90's trance just super saw anjuna and armin like plus 2.0 stuff/

I'd like to be more like Evolution, Fade, Highland, Sasha and diggies.
