Nice work and decent drums
Maybe put some automated nice shiny delays coming in and out on the arp to sound like little birdies chirping

Darek i think you could do better with the bassline, not sure how but i dont think its fitting the groove well enough?

the feel/atmosphere is really nice but i agree bass could be better, more grooving. like some syncopated rhythm, or even a more breaks/drum and bass style sub could work nicely

the drums are v nice. needs some sub/bass and also i agree the sound design could be more interesting. Also agree that delays/reverb would give it more of a sense of depth as is its quite 1 dimensional atm

like it. solid groove/nice beats. One thing that sticks out to me personally is it sounds a bit boomy. There is a harmonic sticking out of the mix @ around 120 HZ that i think you should attenuate. As it is it could get a bit tiring. IMO

well this is about finished now. Ive taken on board your suggestions, what do you reckon?

AM very keen to move on now, feel like ive learnt quite a lot from this one, quite a learning curve dealing with the whole mid bass thing.

Sounds pretty sweet man, really cool work and smooth - just one suggestion if you don't mind -> open-up your stereo image a bit to widen your sounds a little more and also you could autopan some (one or two) elements in your track for cool fx.

Cheers,

Darek

That sounds pretty amazing. First i like how wide your hihats are. And then i like everything else. That's all

Could use some nice sub to gel it a bit but yea...like this, vocal gate chops are really nice addition as well.

Pulled this out after a hiatus...needs more, just not able to pin what

I'm not a fan of intro. Mainly because of the snare pumping. I like the part from 0:45 - 3:38, nice melodies and progression.. Then that phased thing comes in. It sound kinda messy to me, slowing things down and a bit out of mix. Imo . Maybe you could use some bassline.

Yea,the intention for that Reese is when I went half time.I was looking for a transition as I hate nearly dry space in a mix. So It may make it appear slower but in time it really isnt. And yes, the mix has barely anything on it ..yet. Thanks

Any good in this?

Posted by MSZ on Aug-15-2017 04:25:

Nice Gordan, sounds like you're making good progress from what I remember you producing. It sounds fine to me but I guess some might say that trance lead is a little too brash and interfering as the track moves forward.

Some Idea im toying with, although I havent listened on speakers so it's probably off and the quantization needs work.

Hey, you're back Thanks! I like this, it's soft and nice, love the sounds. Could turn into something really good.

btw... Did you manage to release "This is goodbye"? I want that shit

Posted by MSZ on Aug-15-2017 23:58:

Naw, have no energy to spend on that for the time being.
