Originally posted by Chronosis Of course! Personally I use a cheap Yamaha PSR -series keyboard as a midi keyboard (it even has touch sensitive keys + pich bend!). The only reason I can think of buying an expensive, deticated midi controller, is those assignable knobs. |

Hey cyrus. I was wondering what kind of acoustics you get with a sloping cieling like that. Did you have to tune your speakers position or what?
Cheers,
Zac

Originally posted by Final Call haha i dont know..is it a C or B? i just woke up..and im kinda drowsy..so i dont really know |
yeah, it's a virus b and the screens are 20,1" BenQ FP202W and were around 1500 CHF (~1000 €)
and the acoustic is quite good in this room. i did test it with some sinus sweeps and the frequency response is very accurate. much better than the previous room. actually the slope is only on the back of the monitors and the whole room is not that small. imho the slope improves the acoustic (diffuse the direct reflections) as long as there is some space between the wall the monitors.

Originally posted by ErikC It's just like DJ 00 Tommy said, it's only the lighting. I sure am! I've never written anything though. I really recommend you buying a Pulse as it is the best analog monosynth avaliable at that price to value ratio. However most of the sounds on the internet don't do it any justice. Try it out for yourself and I bet you will be glad you did |
