It's been very faithful to me over the years with my piano /keyboard lessons and it's still useful controlling my softsynths now. Shame it's sooo old and cumbersome though. I will have to upgrade soon

Kool! well yeah those new age controllers have those assignable knobs...but theres always the mouse lol i have a old yamaha lying around..i just need a soundcard now. I get paid this week..so maybe i should get a M-Audio Audiophile 2496?

Yeah they are great. The problem is that I just sit and make sounds on my spare time instead of music.. I've bought everything second hand so it wasn't that expensive.. Got the Pulse for 200€ and the Q for 600€..

The keyboard is just a regular 5€ keyboard, I just changed some buttons with a pal when we were at a LAN

Agreed, got a little microQ and allthough it's a hell to program with the matrix, it's capable of a huge range of sounds if you spend some time with it.

If you see a virus C in that picture you must be blind.. I can't see it.

Hey cyrus. I was wondering what kind of acoustics you get with a sloping cieling like that. Did you have to tune your speakers position or what?

Cheers,
Zac

It's pretty hard to see but I'm certain that it's a B.

Posted by thecYrus on Jan-22-2006 12:07:

yeah, it's a virus b and the screens are 20,1" BenQ FP202W and were around 1500 CHF (~1000 €)

and the acoustic is quite good in this room. i did test it with some sinus sweeps and the frequency response is very accurate. much better than the previous room. actually the slope is only on the back of the monitors and the whole room is not that small. imho the slope improves the acoustic (diffuse the direct reflections) as long as there is some space between the wall the monitors.

It's just like DJ 00 Tommy said, it's only the lighting.

I sure am! I've never written anything though. I really recommend you buying a Pulse as it is the best analog monosynth avaliable at that price to value ratio. However most of the sounds on the internet don't do it any justice. Try it out for yourself and I bet you will be glad you did

I've been on the list for years...but I haven't said much lately. I will try out a pulse one day!
