I see you've got some Dt 770s , Ive got the same pair, though im not sure how good they would be for mixing/mastering seeing how they have huge low end. You use an amp for them? I made my own, they sound 10 times better with a good amp than with no amp.

Posted by Kuffdam on Nov-03-2005 14:30:

Hey guys

Some superb set-ups on here... keep the pics coming...

Yeah, I got em hooked to the frontpanel of my terratec 24/97 dmx 6fire soundcard.
it got an amp integrated, works fine with that one.
sound quality is ace too...kinda linear frequency range.

Does anyone have a pic or gearlist of pulser his studio?

Posted by Mr.Mystery on Jan-18-2006 13:35:

I don't think I posted this here yet.

I really don't understand why people need truckloads of gear...

Posted by Diginerd on Jan-18-2006 17:03:

If you have to ask you don't need it..

;-)

Seriously though, sonic colors, and laziness.

Posted by armanivespucci on Jan-18-2006 21:26:

Bedlam, that pic is the funniest thing I've seen in a long time. I still laugh every time I see it.

Hmm...nice keyboard lol..i was wondering...if you have a soundcard with midi in and out...is it possible to use a casio keyboard as a midi controller?..lol i mean..it would seem better to get a 60 dollar casio at radioshack then hacking down 130 for a M-Audio Oxygen8 for just a midi controller.

Of course! Personally I use a cheap Yamaha PSR -series keyboard as a midi keyboard (it even has touch sensitive keys + pich bend!). The only reason I can think of buying an expensive, deticated midi controller, is those assignable knobs.

I still rember thinking this must be what ferry corsten uses when I first got the djx. Wish I could have a go another one now just to see what it's like as both them keyboards died.

Posted by aquila on Jan-19-2006 12:16:

Hahahaha I remember always wanting a DJX when they first came out. I still wouldn't mind one just to thrash about when I go on a journey as an ideas tool.
