I've finished this just now

Ready to send out probably to a label that just released 2 of my DnBs

Evo its dryish synth wise but I wanted everything up and in yer face!
Dunno tho you might be right - especially the intro and break synths - a bit GM sounding right?

I didn't really want to big up this release here but I dunno it might help inspire guys to plough on and get stuff signed

Congrats, Rich!

I'm looking for a label that realease wip jams only. That's my kind of a label.

Here's a new one (no drums yet, kick only)

Well done mate, just round some EQ on your vocal spikes (like 2:01 mark) - love the rest Richard

Something I started, im sure the mix has problems as im working on dekstop speakers right now, can barely hear under 100hz.

we need to retrack the vocal, but my oh my, she's beautiful, bit melanchonic, close your eyes and reminisce the year.....

The bass actually sounds fine to me but the whole mix sounds quite muted, the pad doesn't translate well at least on my shitty KRKs, maybe play it an octave higher and shift the arp up aswell. Drums are too thin and feel a bit in the background. It gets better when the arp fully comes in though.

I made this thing a few days ago, sounds almost progbreaks-ish I'd say?

I put on some headphones tried to patch it up a bit with eq, a lot of times when you move stuff up an octave it loses all the feeling you had going for it so that wasnt a fix, updated the link a bit but it still seems like a binner to move on from.

Returning the feedback: sounds good on my headphones here no crits other than the delay or release overlapping on the bass which is offputting, but thats subjective I guess.

Pop song I'm working on 😄 I think I'm gonna rerecord the verses but I'm pretty happy with it so far. Still trying to come up with the right hook yet but yeah. I'm really stoked on the bridge.

You have another esoteric genius sound here, just d=side chain some of the low mids out the way. Loving the frilly little synths that flutter in and out

Yes! And YES!! Little sharp on that hi hat and not sure if some of your percussion tones are placeholders but, seems a little crisp. Yea man...want to hear this completed.
Vocals are really really nice and love that pass on the sub..then BOOM! Love it!

Woony - nice, i like it

MSZ - nice atmosphere and musical idea, keep on!

Seandroid - idea is good, singing fine, it may be interesting to pop public, sound is.. yeah, kinda irritating.

Richard - great, love this one, best you did so far! Love the sounds and the vocal, really cool stuff! I'm a bit jelaous

I've been fighting with this for last couple of days. Any good?

Certainly. Love it! If you can get the structure right it will be epic.

Glad you like it Thanks!
Structure definitely needs more work.

I'm still not sure about part that starts at 1:15, sometimes i have a feeling that some tones of that melody are displaced, and that it clash with piano starting at 1:50. Then again, sometimes i have a feeling that piano is displaced

Edit... did some changes after this post, i think it's better now

I think you have the fundamentals of your intro starting at 1:14. If you could use that (I don't mean you should change that section per se) and make that build longer, maybe introduce it with 16 bars were you in some way give a heads up on that stutter, you would have a great beginning. Maybe use some of the notes with delay or something. As it is, all happens to quickly. The interaction between the stutter and the muffled piano is in my opinion fantastic. It just sounds ggggrrreat.

I think you should try to build everything up slower, "starting" with that section at 1:14 which gives a great mood right from the start. Maybe you already have a longer version? In this one, everything comes to quickly, you miss out on the journey between the sections. I also think you can have 16 bars where you have the bass more or less alone (as you have at 2:13 - minus the piano) , like a in between, not at the beginning where the bass alone feels to empty. The section at 0:44 does also sound fantastic, but that is imo what you should build everything towards.

Just some thoughts...take it or leave it.

Happy new year!

Dare I publish this political track?

This will be offensive to liberal types. I'm liberal in the true sense of the word, but cannot stand the new breed of intolerant liberal toy throwers that seem to be everywhere
