That is IMO, the slickest table on this thread.

I looked for plenty of inspiration on this thread when i decided to make my table and i only wish i had something like that before i had built my table. Although i am happy with mine, that finish is excellent!

nelly

ps. i love how you have the cables hidden from the back of the table with the multi plug adaptor yoke going into one cuby hole (cuby??) Very neat..

yeah man sweet table you got there

mine is going to be very similar to that start working on it next week.

Can i ask you, how far is the gap from the back of the mixer to the wood? I have the exact mixer and was just wondering about the ground that connected. I was thinking about having everything flush, with the part of the wood near the ground connector shaved off.

Thanks for all the compliments, wish I was closer to my decks right now but I am a few thousand miles away....hopefully my CDJ1000's and Xone will fill that void in a couple weeks time.

The table was built by my friend who is one talented carpenter. I did the sanding and staining, the whole process was done in a couple of days. Here are some more pics for those interested...and yes we built the thing on the 23d floor of my apartment! LOL (good times)

Orbital32: I am almost positive I left 1 1/2 inches between the back of the mixer and the wood. The fit was snug for the RCA's, grounds and powerbars but worked out well.

It's all built on hinges and screws so i'm guessing it can just be 'undone' and rebuilt somewhere else.

Partially a reason why i didn't use glue

I already have moved from that place. Used a dolly and some elbow grease and she was on her way out quite nicely. Use your head man! LOL

Thanks, I was going to mount the CDJ's on the table using the metal brackets that you see in club installs. Since I moved from Toronto and left my vinyl setup there I am going to pick up CDJ's and a new Xone for my new home. Now just gotta figure out what to build for the new decks and mixer!

Posted by Dj Mezma on Feb-07-2006 00:50:

sorry my bad. didnt mean to do that twice. such a dumbass

Posted by solgrabber on Feb-07-2006 00:53:

Very nice indeed. I used to own that mixer, it was one of the best I had.

That looks class as well. Very clean and I like the blue lights.

You stuck an apple sticker on a djm?
Two things i would never buy, mostly just because of my personal preference.

I have a question

Punjabi has a set of Sony cans there. Are they the same ones that PVD uses? And if so, what model are they? If not, which model does PVD use, and are they any good?

Cheers lads,

PvD uses the Sony MDR-V6 (or 7506, same cans). Great great cans, sound great, sturdy little mofos. Do a search, quite a few people use them and we all swear by them.
Punjabi's look like they are the 7506, the V6 have red stickers.

Cheers mate, I've had my mind set on the senn HD25's..

But i dunno if i'm being too close minded as i do like sennheiser products! (which coincidentally, i also found out that they're the main distributor for RANE products in ireland )

Anyway i'll do a search for em, thanks again.
